6 or 7 years ago I was in Paris railway station awaiting for my train. I took a seat in a bench on whitch 3 afghans young adults men were already seated. (Before you ask me how I knew they were afghans nationals, FYi they were wearing t-shirts with Afghanistan’s flag so it made obvious where they came from), they were watching video made by themselves or by a friend of theirs with men having some haram acts with a naked lady. I don’t know if the lady was agreeing about what they were doing to her.

I was so disgusted by them.

And Iraq was essentially flat lands with just a few urbans center on the Tigris and Euraphrates with so it should have been easier to control

If you want a military solution then you must take ALL of Afghanistan and wipe it out. This however will be genocide so I imagine most people in power are hesitant to do it.

Closing the border and border crossings

Denying port access

The amount of pain inflicted on Afghanistan with the above actions is far far worse then any bomb can do

Combine the above with hard targeted attacks on bases and TTP HVTs, then you can strangle Afghanistan

To keep it cost effective, upgrade the F.C and increase made in Pakistan drones to create an effective counter to our enemies in Afghanistan

Im not a military man, although, I have the ability to identify false truths!

firstly, do you know the exact amount of deployed forces in both countries?

I'd look into these before making numbers!

1. strategy and its implications
2. goals for such strategies
3. equipment, area and deployment purpose
4. experience of troops
etc etc

higher number of causalities may not mean enemy was effective!
