They suckered us into a fake peace deal.

On the backdrop, Hindu Taliban will continue their terror tactics.
pakistan army needs to walk into kabul, kandahar, herat, till mazar e sharif, to neutralize indian terror

All is now in bags/boots of pakistan. Afghanistan should never had rocked the boat.

@maverick

pakistan army needs to walk into kabul, kandahar, herat, till mazar e sharif, to neutralize indian terror

Will cost money, no?

Regards

with mineral rich afghanistan, and baluchistan being stable as a result of taking terror down, the cost will pay for itself.. return of investment in form of neutralizing indian terror ally Taliban is high, and benefits Pakistan in long run

"Kingdom hopes that this positive step will lead to an end to tensions on the border between the two countries," Saudi foreign ministry says.

Read that bit again:

"tensions" is what they call it.

Maybe our Saudi friends can tell us again why the Muslim Brotherhood is nothing more than legitimate political opposition in KSA?

I think the symbolic gesture is fine. We don’t intend to occupy Afghanistan so any foot on ground is a waste of money, precious lives of our soldiers.

The message is conveyed that we don’t want terrorism from Afghanistan and can go to any length to prevent it. Hopefully the Afghan government will now take it seriously and not force us to have a buffer zone within Afghanistan if the attack continues

Considering what the global media, analysts, military journals have been saying since May 2025 and even today, it's very odd to downplay Pakistan's huge achievements in military and diplomatic fronts and nitpick on smaller downsides here and there.

Pakistan is having defense deals, best ever diplomatic clout and ceasefires after hitting the enemies on our own terms. Chinese media is filled with praises and suggestions of increased cooperation with Pakistan after J10 deal with Indonesia. India is isolated and Afghans have been pacified, at least if they stay with the deal.
  • Airbase attacked? Israel with a tiny area and 3 layered defence got their airbase attacked too. Nobody can avoid that. Indian airbase and S400 got attacked as well btw
  • Soldiers lost ? Yes we were fighting an 8 times larger enemy. Those soldiers take an oath to defend the country. Sahaba attained Shahadat im badr and uhud and then truce was reached. We are not any greater miracle than those people.

Please stop downplaying Pakistan's successes. Thank Allah that we have an army that can defend us at 2 fronts and still achieve peace and we were not the ones to lose so many planes and fail diplomatically everywhere against an 8 times smaller country . There is no end to wishing we had done this or that or that too. Let's not set sky high goals and then criticise the army for no real reason.
do you learn from your successes or your failures?

Bro, why do you sound like the Pravin Sawhney of Pakistan? It's on the podcasts too. 😂
RAAA agent saar.

lol what good is endlessly going on about successes, its all Pakistanis see, go anywhere and youll see people talking about it, glossing over, and letting shortcomings slide in exchange for rafail, tandoor, pl15 saar etc, without talking about shortfalls theres no point, you'll stay stagnant while others move on

Very good idealistic speech. Like the ones student give at school graduation ceremonies. Something like world peace, eliminating hunger etc. 👍🏼
idealistic for pakistanis...realistic for others? many examples of countries all over the world who are able to follow this.

in the uk: dont throw trash anywhere and everywhere, use the places provided
in pakistan: kahin bhi phek do yaar, govt issi liye hoti hai

in the uk: if you piss outside, no matter where, someone is going to sort you out
in pak: oho yaar meri diwaar pe toh nahi, saath walay pe kar lo...

lol, silly examples but they translate into far bigger issues too...

Saudi Arabia joined other nations on Monday in welcoming the ceasefire agreed between Pakistan and Afghanistan after days of border hostilities, affirming its support for efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability between the two countries.

The ceasefire was agreed early yesterday morning during talks between Afghan and Pakistani delegations in Doha with the mediation of Qatar and Turkiye. A next round of negotiations between the two sides is scheduled to be held in Istanbul on October 25.

Considering all the premature ejections of positive emotions that Pakistanis take in every sphere of life - I would probably consider laziness as one factor and misuse of faith and self belief.

However, in this plain context - the simple aspect was Taliban wanted a win because otherwise they had a pretty sour face at home with many of their shura and the Qataris obliged that.

In the long run it matters little but what matters is where the relationship goes from here and if Pakistan is back to managing two hostile borders as it has had to do for the majority of its existence.

Much like dumb lottery winners - Pakistan tends to look for quick short gains and celebrates it to death then ends up bankrupt again to return back where it started.

I have said for the longest time the Pakistani people work best when they have no pride for themselves. Once we achieve something great we become so delusioned by our temporary victory we lose sight of long term goals only made possible by diligent hardwork

In times after national defeat like as in after 1971 we saw the nation united at its greatest and working its best

It seems they are still carrying out operations against sof targets, such as energy infrastructure and police.

No nation can survive a prolonged sabotage effort such as this. Some additional observations:

- Border terminology fiasco. The Afghans are not smart enough to think of that, as the wording would have been agreed by both parties before it was made public? Correct me if I am wrong. They clearly received a phone call from their idol worshiping BFFs who told them to make a big deal out of it...

- The story of how the first few minutes of the talk transpired with our side almost walking out..we are not dealing with statesman. We are dealing with uneducated buffoons with explosives. We are dealing with ultra nationalist racists who think they have God on their side. This will not end well.

I don't think they know what's good for them.

Hate to put a dampener on the glorious collective hallucinations of some lasting Pax Afghanica but we are very much dealing with an uneducated qom, run by an uneducated jirga.

We know FULL WELL that zombified and dalitised masses only respond to force - be it military or economic or even political - and we have plenty of experience of such "nations" from our dealings with the perpetually existent eastern entity.

Nowhere in this Arab imposed ceasefire is there any leveraging of the military gains made by Pakistan. In other words, politicians have undone PA'S efforts at the stroke of a pen.

One hopes beyond hope that this may be a ruse from Pakistan's delegation and we may simply be offering geopolitical niceties to "concerned partners" while we proceed unhindered with a clandestine operation to decapitate the Kabuli regime, paving the way for some more permanent solution. While military and covert measures continue unabated, Pakistan MUST NOT offer economic respite or restitution to these swine.

They continue to shoot our soldiers. They continue to deny our sovereignty. They continue to harm our civilians.

I do not see a single Pakistani demand. Demands would have been tough asks cornering TTA for their stupidity and making them choose right then and there

  1. TTA should have been asked to ban TTP and issue a public statement that TTP cannot use TT in their name, issue a public statement clearly stating that TTA distances itself from TTP
  2. TTA should have been asked to not hold any talks with india as long as TTP and BLA etc. are operating in afghanistan. Once this menace is rooted out of afghanistan, then TTA or afghanistan can have any talks with anyone, we do not care and should not care. As long as the situation remains the same, Pakistan feels that india will exploit this situation to harm Pakistan's interest and keep indulging in killing of innocent Pakistanis through its proxies in afghanistan
  3. TTA needs to inform Pakistan of its plan for rehabilitation of afghan citizens returning from Pakistan. Now that peace (as claimed by TTA) has been restored in afghanistan, Pakistan is under no moral / legal / religious obligation to host afghan citizens as refugees
  4. TTA need to educate afghans to respect border with Pakistan
  5. TTA and afghan state needs to compensate Pakistan for all Pakistani support during different invasions of afghanistan
  6. Once all above has been achieved, TTA will not let make any trade or weapons deals with indians.
However, the statement I saw is not even worthy of a village level jirga.
