why does pak even tolerate such traitors , if they love Afghanistan soo much exile them

Mansour Pashteen isn't much of a political force as he used to be. A lot of his close allies left him when it became clear he wasn't interested in dialogue, and his policies aligned with Afghanistan.

IK isn't the same. He remains then only national level political leader with major support from all the provinces, and remains a unifying force within Pakistan, despite his problems with the establishment. IK wants to firmly remain in Pakistan, and wants the establishment out of politics for good. He wants a dialogue, but in good faith, and he wants his mandate that he got through elections, which is a fair demand.

Its a good question, PTM doesnt have near as popular support as people think. The problem is that how then do you deal with someone who is peddling anti-state narrative. Personally the comparison between IK ans Pashteen is inaccurate.

What is evident is that we have teo frozen conflicts now:

West and East

We have internal security headaches - not insurmountable but enough to cause heartburn.

Out collation government has seen some cracks develop recently between the center and the south. Political uncertainty at such a time is an unwelcome distraction- but that is for another thread.

Meanwhile there are rumours on dining tables of the rich and powerful that the powers that be are coming up with a great solution to all our problems. ( a proposed ban on TikTok) 🤣🙄

Ultimately our threat analysis and risk management has to take into account all these factors alongside belligerent nationalistic overtones from both neighbours, whilst combating a deadly insurgency.

Its a very big hill, but I have faith in our armed forces.

I just wanted to point out that, Masha'Allah, you are gifted with a great voice. It's like listening to David Attenborough narrating on defence matters.

Indeed, PSA sb. Arsalan sb (@arslank01) has not only a great voice but also amazing clarity of thought. Hopefully, you will appreciate not only his voice but also heed his views and ministrations as well, not all of which will be to your liking.

I think regime change is necessary in Afghanistan if we want to see peace in Pakistan, this time we have to back Tajik instead of backing of Pashtun which we always did because our some general were pashtun and they decided to back their kin-men. Tajik and rest of pakistan have same nature moderate and progressive and they dont care about Durand line (main source of conflict) . The pashtun Afgan hate us more than Indian hindu do, the Tajik hate us because we always discriminated them and always supported afghan pashtun against them. If we support Tajik back government then these animal of ttp will be busy in Fighting in Afghanistan and will leave us alone forever. Never ever any type of support to Afghan pashtun.
TTP is a branch of TTA, the TTA is supporting TTP so TTP can occupy Pakistan for TTA. TTA main agenda is occupying Pakistan through TTP thats why they will never agree to abandon ttp. Tajik/hazara rule in Afghanistan is the only answer for peace in Pakistan

I can't see anything other than a prolonged strategy, that forces the afghan's who are belligerent to respect certain red lines, if not love then fear approach

If you won't give respect then respect will be taken, that sort of energy

I have quietly observed on this thread mostly because knowing the afghans one operation will not change their mindset, they may enjoy the new challenge, and whilst I understand the compulsion to act, it would never not be a risky move, everyone needs to look around and ask what appetite do they have for this


This act does not just represent a military action, it has to represent a societal shift in attitudes within Pakistan on basic respect

The other factor, the problem with these deals is when you have a violation you never know if it's not a third party causing problems

In that sense, Iran after their recent experience and pak now have to be on the same page with respect to a broader Afghan nation building issue, frankly speaking how can you resolve an entire generation of men used to banditry available for hire
