This is the UAE leader's first 'official' visit; he had been to Pakistan before on an unofficial visit and looking at the reception given to him, I REALLY doubt this visit was even half about attending somebody's wedding.
Much goes on diplomatically behind the scene. When General Asim Munir met President Trump in the 'private lunch' for two hours a few months ago, I am sure much was discussed and agreed upon, including how to defuse the then Iran-Israel conflict and to agree upon the broad contours of other regional matters, including the Gaza ceasefire and future plans for Gaza.
