To be fair - IRGC now needs to stop firing on USN ships like that. It serves no purpose. Just look at the damage on those tankers. Was it a sensible exchange rate for the IRGC ?????
It is very obvious by now that the IRGC cannot hit a USN, let alone do anything worse and the exchange ratio of having misses like they are having, in return having your oil tankers damaged like this make no more sense tactically at all.
The "not wanting" to hit a USN is absolute nonense. Not even Yemen could get close to actually hitting a USN.
Until IRGC can develop / fix issue with their anti-ship and ballistic missiles inability to score a hit, they should go back to the drawing board and redevelop their platforms first on war time footing.
As of now, IRGC's anti-naval capability against the USN is basically redundant, lets not kid ourselves here.
