Breaking News: Yemen's Houthis strike Saudi Arabia's Abha airport with missiles and drones in a sharp escalation

The Saudis had better use that expensive air force they have because if the Houthis get control of that strait they are screwed.

These Saudis dimwits cant comprehend is that no air war has ever, or will ever, displace any regime without placing a large number of troops on the ground.

The Saudis have consistently and without fail shown how utterly incompetent they are when it comes to fighting a war.
How did you decide that..and who has brought you Islam till your land and fought there !?

Listen to this guy..not just anyone:

We support Riyadh's efforts to achieve the roadmap for a peaceful settlement in Yemen. Lavrov commenting on the strikes of the Ansar Allah group #Houthis on #Saudi Arabia: We believe that they will backfire

Maybe you should read before posting?
Egypt's syez canal annual revenue is approx 9 billion USD .. How much the war will cost and how much damage will it do to our economy?

And WHY the f would we want to fight houthis anyway? For saudia and israel ? Lol ..
It's not just about the amount you make through suez... it's about a reliability too for Egypt as being reliable connecting point to continents worldwide.... if this Houthis threat is permanent then all major economies will be in trouble and seek for some sort of options... like India proposed India, UAE, Israel corridor... or max they will take a pinch and start traveling via south Africa..... this is not good for suez in long term....

That is very interesting and is the Litmus test of the agreement.
If Pakistan delivers while still balancing its act with Iran - then there is immediate proof that the agreement held.

Because at this point Iran is not exactly one government is more the civilian elected reps balancing with the Mullah regime which is still not seeing the reality of the situation.

There is no need to balance or appease the Iranians at this point. Do whatever is right.

Iran, too, will always look after its own interests, such as teaming up with India. In fact, the Iranians will team up with India once the conflict is over i.e. Chabahar.

If the Houthis attack Saudi Arabia, a response will be required.

Iranian have thus far pretended that the houthis aren't their proxies. Coming into defense of them shatters that. With what face can the complain to Pakistani diplomats while indians sat in chabahar and are invited to again.

It's not the Iranians that Pakistan needs to worry about. It's their proxies, in yemen and more importantly in Pakistan

The Iranians cannot be trusted for one second. Not a single second. Iran has its own set of interests and Iran is absolutely aligned with Hindustan. Iran's response to the Mecca pact has been vicious. No different to India. We can understand why.

Pakistan needs to prioritise its own interests. Need to do whatever needs to be done. The era of balancing is over.

If the Houthis strike KSA, Pakistan and Türkiye need to respond. Such an attack against KSA cannot be tolerated.

We need to be wary of Iran, Russia and India troika. These three have their own agenda and it collides with our agenda.

Agreed. Even Iranians here get extremely mad at China simply because China protects its own interests when buying oil to support its own exports and somehow China is a lacky of the West despite all the support Iran receives. Iranians are becoming insufferable these days.

Why is it that every enemy of usa and israel suddenly are declared enemies by house of saud, do they even have 1% control of their foreign policy ? Or even the country itself?

It is a very costly gamble by Iran. The era of nations engaging in balancing acts in the region is over. While attacks on Israel and US military bases are predictable within this conflict, using the Houthis to target Saudi Arabia for self serving motives crosses a line.

China like any other Nation does what's in its own best interests. People hoping for some intervention are on super hopium

Yeah Iran is trying to burn the whole middle east down and hurt the world as much as possible. I understand they are in an existential crisis but you still don't burn down the house just because your getting robbed.
