I read an article that Syria said they intercepted a missile….they supposedly have the ability to intercept an Iranian missile but can’t stop idf troops from entering their country by the dozens I don’t actually believe they intercepted anything it was on Al Jazeera it was either a a booster or a malfunctioning Iranian rocket but I’m betting it was booster and they are trying to suck up to Trump.
What’s weird here as many missiles trump and Jordan have intercepted for Israel doesn’t seem Israel is willing to help their neighbors and “allies”

No they don't. It's Israeli interceptors or US crossed into Syrian airspace to intercept Iranian missiles.

Syria has zero ABM capability, even under Assad. And the missile impacted a Syrian base used by U.S. forces.

Syria cannot stop anything other than cheap drones like Shahed with some AA guns.
