Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

I do not respect those who stand neutral towards the Houthis

The Houthi is a terrorist and his act is terrorism, and whoever adheres to neutrality is a terrorist, and they are all killers and criminals..

Justifying terrorism is terrorism itself.

Everyone is a terrorist these days. The word has lost its meaning.

If Saudis can starve hundreds of thousands of children and women to death and point fingers at others and call them terrorists then name calling is just a gimmick and means nothing anymore

Let's be honest though.

If KSA is dependent on internal discord among this sandal wearing militia in order to even think about being able to defeat them, then KSA has a generational problem with its security that it needs to spend 10 years on rectifying instead of fannying around with "soft power" projection, which itself fails because of the western world's moral ambiguity.

Of course the Mecca Pact helps but KSA need to create a force itself (with Turkish and Pakistani guidance certainly) that can at least deal with this miscreant horde of khat munchers.

May as well accept now that the future will be that of war and embrace it.
All those ifs are false..

And who is the grandfather of Turkey and Pakistan in Islamic wars if it is not Saudi Arabia..so why this arrogance of saying it needs their guidance..!?

It is not only the Mecca agreement now..I don't know why no one has thought about the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC)..now that Houthis are classified as terrorists by the UNSC and the world..

*** The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) is an intergovernmental counter-terrorist military alliance between 43 member states in the Muslim world, united around the war against the Islamic State and other counter-terrorist activities.

Over 223,000 to 377,000 cumulative deaths in Yemen have been linked to indirect causes—including extreme hunger, severe malnutrition, disease, and a lack of healthcare—since the civil war and Saudi-led intervention escalated. [1]
  • Child Mortality: An estimated 85,000 children under the age of five may have died from acute malnutrition and related diseases between April 2015 and late 2018, according to data from Save the Children and the United Nations. [1, 2, 3]
  • Food Insecurity: Between 17 million and 19.5 million people in Yemen face acute food insecurity and require urgent humanitarian assistance. [1, 2]
  • Primary Causes: The crisis is driven by the ongoing civil war, naval and land blockades, damaged import infrastructure at key ports like Hodeidah, soaring food prices, and severe funding gaps for international aid. [1, 2, 3]

They had a civil war for almost a century and those are the consequences.. So why blame Saudi Arabia..its intervention to save the legitimate Yemeni government recognised by the UN is quite recent..

Ma’rab and Al-Jawf:

Since the morning, Apache helicopters have been flying to support the army and the popular resistance.

Saudi Apaches enter the battle to support and back the legitimate forces in #Ma'rib, destroying and destroying sites, cannons, rocket launchers, and #Houthi terrorist elements.

Fierce battles rage on the outskirts of the old airport:

Clashes intensify between the armed forces, the resistance, and the Houthi militia around the 35th Armored Brigade camp west of Taiz. The western front of Taiz city is currently witnessing fierce clashes and escalating direct confrontations between the national army forces and the Houthi terrorist militia, concentrated around the 35th Armored Brigade camp and the old airport area.

These fierce battles are part of ongoing operations to inflict heavy losses on the militia and thwart its desperate attempts to breach the army's advanced defense lines in the western sector of the province.

Wall Street Journal: Information confirms the presence of Revolutionary Guard officers on the Houthi front lines

Despite the siege to starve the city of resilience #Taiz, the tribes have declared a general mobilization against #Houthis Since the emergence of the filthy #Houthi_Cancer, they have not been able to subjugate the city of Taiz, and thus they have preserved their faith and protected their youth The general mobilization declared by the tribes just moments ago is being carried out in a splendid military style that relies on military formations distributed across the city's entrances.

US NAVY INTERCEPTS MASSIVE HOUTHI DRONE SWARM OFF BAB EL-MANDEBU.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers operating under Operation Prosperity Guardian successfully intercepted and destroyed a massive swarm of 14 one-way attack drones launched by Houthi forces toward commercial shipping lanes in the southern Red Sea. While the interception prevented direct hits on transiting containerships, the attack underscores severe ongoing threats, reinforcing why major container lines remain committed to 100% Cape of Good Hope detours.

SAUDI COALITION INTERCEPTS MISSILE SALVO OVER YANBU PORT AS RED SEA ATTACKS MOUNTThe Saudi-led coalition released operational footage confirming the interception of a ballistic missile launched toward the Red Sea port city of Yanbu, alongside two cruise missiles over the Red Sea and three attack drones. The aerial barrage follows retaliatory coalition strikes against Houthi weapons-smuggling networks along Yemen's Red Sea coast. With naval escort assets under Operation Aspides severely overstretched, major container mainlines continue maintaining 100% Cape of Good Hope detours.
