As an International Moderator myself, I try to be fair and balanced. Especially when I am an active participant in some threads. Further, I have even been known to question some of the logic behind what my own country's leadership is doing.

If you can point to a specific post of mine where I've made vile accusations against another country, kindly point it out and we can discuss.

One of the problems, which is not limited to PDF; it exists on others, is too many people take the easy way out and rely solely on Twitter as their "source of the truth". I am finding Twitter to be rubbish more and more each day. Especially when a certain member here will post a tweet. I will review it and sure enough, without fail I can find in mere minutes one or more more reputable sources and will post those links here.

Agree with @ShapurII your definitely a guy we can have honest discussions with I only know of one trigger that we had a disagreement on and I left it alone honestly you probably forgot about it but I saw that it got you hot so I decided to end the conversation about it but your my top 3 and I am open about it because we can go back and forth with moderators respectfully even if it gets heated five posts later we are having a friendly conversation.

No, I wasn't referring to any of your posts. I've known you for quite a while on PDF and we've had probably just one disagreement, which is why I no longer participate in the US section of the forum, but you've always been respectful towards other countries, including Iran which is currently in an ongoing war with the country you represent. I'm sorry if it sounded like my criticism was directed towards all moderators of the forum, it was not.

To be more specific, I was referring to @The SC's post where he says that Badr al-Din al-Houthi studied in a Zoroastrian seminary in Qom and died in Tehran, besides a long list of accusations without a shred of evidence against Iran and the Houthis of Yemen. The part about a Zoroastrian seminary in Qom is so clearly false that anybody who knows even a bit about Iran will immediately realize it's nonsense. Yet, he posted that nonsense and instead of providing any sort of proof for it, he says "it is known in the Arab world" lol As if anybody cares what they say in their own circles. Obviously, he who asserts must prove (onus probandi) and the burden of proof is on him, not anybody else.

What did this man establish?

1. He established the ideology of cursing the Companions in Yemen.* Yemen was predominantly Shafi'i and Zaidi, and both groups loved the Companions. Then this man came from Iran and said: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Aisha are in Hellfire. He began teaching this in Sa'dah.

2. He established the Twelver Shi'a ideology in Yemen.* Yemen had never known the "Twelfth Imam hidden in the cellar." He brought him from Qom and told the people of Yemen: You must wait for the Hidden Mahdi.

3. He founded the ideology of "Kill the Sunnis and you will go to Paradise.

He is the one who famously said: "I only fight Sunnis.

Do you now understand why the Houthis are bombing Mecca and Riyadh?
Because they are the offspring of this man... the offspring of the seminary... the offspring of Qom...

Badr al-Din al-Houthi died in Tehran... and was buried in Tehran... then they moved his remains to Saada...

He didn't die in Yemen... he died among his Persian masters... because he was merely an employee of theirs...


A true Yemeni doesn't insult the Companions of the Prophet...

A true Yemeni doesn't say three prayers...

A true Yemeni doesn't take the Khums (religious tax)...

If the reason you quit posting in the American threads is because of one disagreement with me, then maybe I should be disappointed. Probably won't buy you an espresso either when I'm in Italy.

What "'treason'' exactly did Saudi Arabia commit, and who appointed you to punish an entire population for it ? You openly want Arab civilians and infrastructure destroyed, but somehow Heathrow, Pearson and Europe are off limits because you have invented an excuse for them.

And you are writing all this while comfortably living in Canada, one of Israel’s strongest supporters. why are you paying taxes and enjoying life there? Move to Iran, share the consequences of the policies you keep cheering for, and then perhaps these lectures will carry some weight.

Until then, this is just selective outrage from the safety of a country you refuse to hold to your own standards.

One nation committed it.

Multiple nations knowingly funded it, including - but not limited to - USA, Canada, India, EU, UK.

Two entities genuinely resisted it (Hamas, Hezbollah), though it can be argued that one of those groups actually catalysed it through recklessness.

Now Iran - among numerous nations - opposed it but could not stop it or even slow it down despite several desperate efforts.

Which brings us to the sand people of Sanaa. They have done sweet f.a. for the Palestinians and this pretence that warring against KSA (and note, I fully appreciate that the dispute between KSA and the Houthis is legitimate and that this particular conflict is grounded in reality) somehow equates to action on behalf of Palestine is delusional.
