I am simply posting the most popular Indian and local sources on the matter. Those tweets have hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of likes. I have found much tweets alleging a far worse situation with a few likes from non notable accounts, but I have avoided posting them.

Everyone gossips, smart ones use that to their own means.

Evidently the current stir is on crop pricing and profit sharing for the farmers. A powerfull narrative on the cusp of elections from an influencial voter base.

What better way to kill it, other than labelling them seccesionists. Its election time, Pakistan is back in the Indian Lexicon for the foreseable future

Any protest in India is a secessionist movement on Twitter. A few days back there was a Karnataka language chauvinist protest for Kannada promotion and two days later random tweets claiming Separate South India propped up.

Remember the time when a Filipino claiming to be from NE, burning the Indian flag for Nagalim was propped up and then disappeared?

They should ask their MPs to take it up with the government and/or find other means to protest and have their voices heard.

What they should not be allowed to do is to inconvenience the general population like last time with emergency services effected, people missing flights and so on.

Also, obvious election ploy shenanigans are obvious because the congress is all set for an even greater drubbing this time around.

Modi Ji should round the lot of them up and mass incarcerate the whole stinking lot as his first action upon resuming office for the 3rd term.

You have to give Modi credit, previous Indian governments were very wishy washy and weak in the face of internal and external threats to India such as this and other countries who felt empowered in disrespecting India.

Which Indian leader before Modi had the balls to demolish illegal structures built on destroyed ruins of Hindu temples by Islamic invaders? Which ideology/party has gone on the all out offensive against Khalistani terrorists across the world from America to Pakistan?

If Modi continues his all out offensive against India's internal enemies (Islamists, Khalistanis, etc.) it would put India in a very strong position before next election. Hindu Rashtra would be the final nail in the coffin to crush India's internal adversaries who seek to sow division under the guise of secularism.
