They are very secretive about what's going on for real.. this is just some fast food for the media..
 
Stand off weapons and air to air missiles like the PL-15 are the big draw. But because
Saudi doesn't operate any Chinese platforms it will be difficult. I understand they are going to air defense and drones so it's a different set of products.
Big one is Egypt looking to buy the J-10's, now see my point above.
 
I am a tad suprised that Egypt has not gone for either the J10C or JF17C, given their investment in procuring the K8 into their airforce. Time will tell, of course, but Egypt is being restrained interms of its capability growth by its current suppliers in the west, and poor quality equipment from Russia. Their ability to defend against Israel will be determined by their ability to procure good stealth aircraft like the J-31 series, and the J10C is a pathway for that.

China would be a game changer for Egypt for sure. China will not restrict on the basis of pressure from Israel, etc.
