Checkout the size of the missile under the wing of this JF-17 Thunder. The length it extends from it's launch rail, clearly points to the fact that it surely isn't the SD-10 variety.

There is only one and it has been flown on the jet in a “operational” test some 5 years ago but in general those missiles are pretty expensive and capable kits best kept in storage to avoid flight time and stress on them until absolutely necessary and then too keep them reserved for the J-10C because that is truly capable of maximizing them for what they are.It would be fairly trivial to calculate the dimensions of that missile to narrow down the list of possible units.

That's not even true though. There are several things that need to be identified correctly before you can even think of firing anything.All that line of code , only one that matters is
"Fire Missile" code as long as that works
