I wonder how many Bengali speaking Muslims rejected the two nation theory and chose to remain in India, despite East Pakistan (Bangladesh) being right there and massive riots in Bengal during partition.

If Bangladeshis are to be believed, then millions of Bengali speaking Muslims found in the Bangladesh's neighboring states rejected the two nation theory and chose to remain in India.

There are plenty of Bengali speaking Muslims in India. They have always been there. Just because it doesn't suit your belief system doesn't mean you can push them out into Bangladesh.

Provide proper documentation and Bangladesh will repatriate people who illegally migrated. That has been Bangladeshi official stance before and even now. Foreign ministry and BGB has been reiterating this point.

If you can't provide proof, then you don't get to push people out like you guys are trying to do so. You have to keep them to yourselves.

Would you like it if we push out 20 million Bangladeshi Hindus into India? Just because no Hindu is supposed to remain in Bangladesh after the violent riots in 1947?

"In the case of Bangladesh, as I had informed you earlier, we have referred 2,680 cases, or more than 2,680 cases, to the Bangladeshi side, for them to verify the nationality of those people whose names we have handed over," External Affairs Ministry's spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in response to a query during his weekly media briefing in New Delhi.

"Once this nationality verification is done, then we'll be in a position to deport these people, these nationals of Bangladesh. In many cases, I had told you earlier that this verification is pending for more than five years or so. And we expect that we will receive an early response from Bangladesh on this particular issue," he added

Bangladesh is deliberately delaying repatriation, thus making "push-ins" perfectly justified.

Illegal bangadeshi muslims will have no space in India.

We made a law called CAA to accept persecuted Hindus of Bangladesh, they are welcome.

You are driven, by communal hatred of your Hindus, you would drive out your own citizens to another country and that is fine by us, this government will accept them.

Nor do you have any love for Muslims even if they were own citizens and illegal migrated to neighboring country.

But in India, our Muslim citizens are as Indian as any, we don't want them anywhere but in India.

What we don't want Bangladeshis illegal migrants coming in guise of Indian Muslims.

If it were up to me, I wouldn't have accepted a single Bangladeshi illegal migrant be he a Hindu or Muslim.
