Based on data provided by Sindh CPLC, Karachi has witnessed a steady increase in petty and violent crime particularly concerning is the rise of K&R/E = Kidnap for Ransom and Extortion.

Data provided by the Pakistan Institute of Peace Studies “Security Situation Report 2023” shows an 87% increase in terrorist attacks in Sindh compared to 2022 with 14 recorded attacks in with 16 people were killed[1]

With the upcoming elections it is all the more important that LEAs and Sindh Rangers provide effective relief to business and Industry in the city and province.
