I am sensing that. People are spending a lot of time and attention on trivia when there are serious issues that matter. There are so many editorials and analyses on the failure of cricket team that they dwarf anything on the failures of Pakistan's economy or polity. Last year so much ink was spilled on the alleged U.S. interference in changing the government. Now that not a single official of any status in Biden administration has even bothered to make a Zoom call to the P.M. of new government, the allegations of conspiracy look idiotic.

The central issue the current regime is having, along with the military, is they, for the first time, have lost control of the narrative, and going crazy like a rabid dog, and are thinking illogically to then make these stupid cases that have no merit. As you know, when you start thinking illogically and start making maneuvers, you are bound to make a mistake along the way, except while they are walking into a mistake they are dragging 220 million along with it.
