Dear Admin,

Glad to see the new PDF up and running.
I had a little concern about our safety and protection of our real identities on this forum.
I can see apart from the known staff from old PDF, like waz, Hyde and Amaa'n, there's quite a few new mods and Int'l mods on this forum. Are they all able to see every user's IP address? That makes me somewhat uncomfortable as it is easy to track and find people using their real IP addresses, if anyone/any agency wants to.

The agencies have many more avenues to identify anyone they wish, than any potential leaks from this forum, beginning with your local ISP.

Thanks for your input.

You would need to know a person's real IP to identify their local ISP. Unless the plan is to to track all the data going in and out of the millions of local ISP's worldwide.

I'd still like to know if all the mods & int'l mods have access to user IP addresses on this forum, or only the Administrator has that privilege.

I do not have access to anyone's IPs, I can tell you that for sure.

So we started with a safe approach. Only Admin (Me, Waz and Amaa'n) have access to IP tracing right now until further notice. We do plan to expand this feature with Super moderators living abroad
