Honestly, every ship has a unique IMO number through which you can track its ownership details and its past consignments.

Not a rocket science. I am sure Houthis can find that information out without relying on Iran.

The objective is to make sure insurance premiums on transporting goods to Israel become insanely high that the transport ceases. So far, Yemen are doing a good job at it.

thats right but houthis are not capable and they are enemies of both Israel and Saudies and so are Turkiye and Iran while China in the long tends to benfit if they all fight each other and india tends to loose most .... so the enemy of india and friend of china or china's role in this matrix is under the scanerr already so is that of iran and turkiye ... hope you get the drift

But since the monies involved for each merchant ship are huge, can't the owners themselves hire an onboard hit squad of mercs. The world is overflowing with unemployed highly trained mercs. Farm it out to a Wagner or Blackwater. Then watch the bad guys' eyes pop ...
