Russia under Putin is a hooligan and rapist. Of course a defeated Russia is of US and Europe’s interest.

The concern is just Russia’s nuclear arsenal. If not then nobody cares of. Russia would have the same importance like Cuba. So the tricky question is how to crush Russia to the point just short below nuclear war.

It is in China's interest to support Russia with materials and technology. Russia and Belarus are China's client states and China's door to exporting manufactured goods to Europe by rail.

That’s fantasy. Russia is cut off from Europe. No plane, no ship, no person from Russia is allowed to enter Europe. There is no way the Chinese can use Russia to enter Europe.
Here in Germany almost all russian consulates and institutions are closed down. All Russians propagandists are kicked out.
