Unless there intends to be a civil war between PAF Peshawar, Samungli and Masroor on one side and the rest of the PAF in the other - the J-31 doesn’t really change equations when it comes to east or west and anything beyond that from Diego Garcia or Dhafra you have zero hope to do anything against.

I never pointed to defending gulf countries - any threat beyond India, be it from the western front, a hostile gulf country or hosted parties in gulf countries - Pakistan is hopelessly compromised and incoherent to do anything about.

India is certainly a factor , even more serious factors are emerging in the horizon....J31 is not India specific .....it may come even earlier than Dec 2026 .

This is what I have been telling people that J31 is NOT india specific. Whatever we have right now, is more then enough to pummel Indian airforce.

Regardless of timeline - the J-31 has no impact to Pakistan’s ability to respond to any of those conflicts
