I doubt the veracity of these "reports" which come from so called defence enthusiasts. With no official ever mentioning anything like this, it seems highly dubious.

Their stop gap because Arjun did not pan out and T-90 procurement is happening fast enough. Good idea to utilize the Ajeyas since they are the ancestral lineage for the T-90x
