It's a beautiful aircraft with an adequate amount of R&D and focus granted. Has plentiful growth potential across several prospective variants. With all tests and necessary certifications completed, would love to see it being in serial production.

when they officially presented the second modified prototype of the Yasin,
I had done some photoshop to evaluate how the single-seater Yasin with CAS capability could look like

and with subsequent photos I had realized this (fixed armament I thought the same M39 20mm of the F-5)


And now, at the Iran Airshow 2024 this one appeared that looks like it.
Apparently at least at the model level they thought of a single-seater light attack version

Would such an a/c come down to between either it or the Yak-130.

It cannot be retracted, nothing needs to be removed. Its combat value increases significantly.
