Mods should give reasons

Hi, this is not a critic or complain here. I think Mods should provide the reason when a user gets something like this: “you have insufficient privilege to reply here.”

This message appears for multiple reasons.

If you are Thread banned by the moderator.

If you are section banned by the moderator.

We usually use the Thread ban to slow down the user instead of issuing a warning. So that he can still participate freely everywhere else except that thread

Section ban occurs rarely and only Senior MODs can use that. It means if an Indian for example is derailing Pakistani threads or a Pakistani derailing Indian threads but talking sensibly in their section. We can prevent them from participating in relevant sections if we deem appropriate.


This message also appears for users in Pink Colour (SpeedLimited) as they have received 3 warning points and then they can make only 10 posts per day except Members Club until one of their point expires.
