Opening ceremony of two weeks long Joint Exercise Al-BADAR-VIII at National Counter Terrorism Centre, Pabbi

The opening ceremony of Pakistan-Bahrain “Joint Exercise Al-BADAR-VIII” was held at National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, the military said.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), contingents from Pakistan Army and Bahrain National Guards are participating in the two-week-long exercise.

“The exercise is aimed at nurturing of joint employment and interoperability besides, harnessing the historic military to military relations among the brotherly countries,” the military’s media wing added.

The ISPR said that the Director General Military Training was the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

It further said that both countries have displayed zeal and enthusiasm for benefiting from each other’s expertise.

Al-BADAR is an annual bilateral joint exercise in counter terrorism domain between Pakistan and Bahrain.

Earlier this month the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, conferred the Military Medal Order of Bahrain First Class upon Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir during his two-day official visit to the kingdom.

The honour was given in recognition of Gen Asim's efforts and contributions to the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two nations.

Immaterial to Pakistan's foreign affairs.
Unfortunately - Those with the least to lose are the ones advocating absurd foreign policy ideals for Pakistan.

At this point Pakistan needs any relationship and any ally - preferably those with deep pockets and an ear into those that control the IMF

Talking about foreign affairs, you guys are ready to recognise Israel, aren't you? The GCC masters have made such demands before.

Now I see. More IMF loans. Nice. How do you intend to repay the loans? Burden the common man?

Neither is anyone able to convince the IMF to become softer against Pakistan. Pakistan is a loan addict that deserves every suffering of its own making. I cannot wait for ladla to wreck Pakistan further.

You are right about one thing. Most of us expats aren't repaying these IMF loans. That is for sure. If that is called least losing I am all for it. Yes, I will watch from a safe distance how Pakistan and its predominantly Pubjabi army burns its own house down.

Bahrain is the same country that doesn't care about Palestinians.

Bahrain doesn't care about Bahrainis.

This is the same pipsqueak dictatorship that called in Saudi and UAE military in 2011 to crush their own citizens asking for democracy.

Sound familiar?

I know exactly who Bahrain is. A little lackey of the Americans and Westerners. Basically a tiny brothel. These Bahraini Arabs walk over the dead bodies of their Palestinian bretheren.

My original question stands. Are we happy to see such an exercise? Apparently some of us are due to IMF loans and some aren't. I am least surprised because I was expecting this answer. Clearly the Pakistani army doesn't have any qualms about holding exercises with Bahrain. That should reveal a whole lot of things.

Yeah why should it have any qualms. We dont have qualm holding exercises with the US either that are supplying arms and 80billion in aid to Israel, besides giving them political cover. Welcome to the real world

That is why we keep giving the Pakistani army a middle finger. You know what gives me enormous satisfaction? When whisky gets riled up about social media. Whisky is just unable to control social media. Unlike the fake cases against PTI.
