He's one of the famous Mohammad brothers of Pakistan. During his 20-year-long international career, he has played 57 Tests in addition to 10 ODI's for Pakistan, scoring 3643 and 209 runs, respectively. He was also a decent leg spinner, with 79 Test wickets at an average of 29.22. With a career best of 201, he has 10 test centuries under his name.

When he made his maiden Test century at the age of 17 years and 78 days against India, it made him the youngest Test centurion. A record that stood for 40 years. Prior to that, his Test debut was also a world record at the time, as he was the youngest Test debutant at the time. As per the records, he was just 15 years and 124 days old.

Here's wishing a very happy 79th birthday to former Pakistan cricketer Mushtaq Mohammad.

The slowest Test century in the world of cricket. This record was made by Mudassar Nazar against Britain in 1977.

We have produced outstanding players but Saeed Anwar was always my favourite batsman. I wish he didn't retire after 2003 as I missed him dearly for several years and hoped that he reversed his retirement.

He must be in 50s or 60s, may be we can pick him again as he will perform better than half of our batting line up

First superstar of Pakistan cricket Fazal Mahmood in his heyday. 1954

Under the leadership of captain Imran Khan, the cricket team is ready to leave for Britain and India in 1987.

Loved Saeed Anwar.. there was a phase of many years in the 90s where Saeed Anwar, Brian Lara, Tendulkar, and Mark Waugh were absolutely killing it.

Hon'ble mention - Inzy Bhai, but I thin khe was a notch lower than those guys

You're putting Saeed Anwar in the same bracket as Sachin and Lara? Have you ever watched a game of cricket?

There was a period in the 90s when all 3 + Mark Waugh were going toe to toe in both formats.

Considering Sachin debuted in 1989(age 16) and played lower down the order for first few years it might be possible.

May be Saeed Anwar at his very peak could compare with 16 year old Sachin

Oh, sure.. I agree, Sachin and Lara were a class apart all during their careers. Waugh and Anwar were pretty good too in the middle of their careers, when all 4 were on the circuit at peak performance.

Muhammad Wasim with Wasim Akram Rashid Latif And Waqar Younis ..
