RKS Bhadauria Exclusive on India Today As AMCA Takes Off | Battle Cry

Quite informative...

The PAF has taken the right decision to pre-emptively counter the IAF's capabilities by joining the KAAN program in particular and being intricately involved in all aspects of the booming Turkish military industrial endeavors in general. Not to mention the PAF Chief's public statement regarding procuring J-31s on an emergency basis. The readiness in the matters of the national defense is never enough.....

I hope AMCA is completed in time till then our best option will be to rely on Super Rafale F5 versions......

There is nothing official about Pakistan going for KAAN.... but yes they might go for few units in future after 2030......

Keep the babus out of it and make sure the IAF finalizes requirements instead of shoving in scope creep after scope creep and it will fly in time.

They are officially “liasing” with the project on record and in MOUs. But, much like the ATAK the issue is sanctionable engines.

Exactly sir.... these babus are the biggest curse on our military..... by the time they induct systems it's already obsolete.... I won't be surprised by the time AMCA complets trials China Pakistan will be moving to 6th generation fighters.... IAF too equally blamed for keep changing requirements and demanding something that even western nations do not have many times.....

Both is not going to happen. PSUs stay true to their name.

Ive heard good things regarding Bhadauria from the PAF side in terms of his work ethic compared to the last guy - so maybe he gets stuff done? Although he is rumored to be more political.

Our only chance at achieving the impossible may lie in the privatization of PSUs and developing the R&D culture which is supported by the private sector, in return the private sector companies will have IP rights & are free to sell weapon systems to friendly countries.

Bahaduria compared to other ACMs was the best thing happened in IAF..... very visionary and always did his best to speed up the things too bad in this country where government decides what armed forces need and
take its own sweet time to implement instead of leaving it to military he had his own limitations.....

indian govt sector military companies are a burden and air force is also brimming with corruption. i have low hopes from amca , there is no doubt it will come but a decade late just like tejas.
if push comes to shove f35s will come until then some more rafales and tejas is only possible.
