Agreed! as for May 9th, i think it is blown out of proportion purposedly. PTI stance has always been very clear conduct an open inquiry, those found guilty should be punished but the fact that no commission is formed or an open investigation done, shows that the purpose wasnt to bring the culprits to justice but rather something entirely else.Good to see someone joining PTI at this difficult time. He must be a man of character
We need PTI to move away from a political system dominated by two families, regardless of the events on May 9th.
It is of course operation “Push PTI to the wall” in disguise of whatever excuse we can make.Agreed! as for May 9th, i think it is blown out of proportion purposedly. Besides let us assume for argument sake that PTI was the one behind 9th May, then how come a mere press conference wipes the debt of those involved? Shouldnt all involved be taken to cleaners and not just those that refuse to do a press conference.
I believe it was also a blessing in disguise for Khan and PTI. Both learned the hard way and also the party was cleansed from the opportunist and now the real core and loyal party workers remain that will have the chance to come out and lead. Previously Khan needed electable, now all it needs is elections. We are now seeing people like Marwat coming and leading from the front, then another guy from Baluchistan (forget his name) he is also a new guy but delivered yesterday. These people are going to strengthen the party and new leadership will emerge specially with Khan out of the scene for a long time to come.It is of course operation “Push PTI to the wall” in disguise of whatever excuse we can make.
At the same time, PTI introduced swearing culture from very few politicians to every household. Something had to be done about it. If I summarise Imran Khan’s government in a few words, then he had group of opportunists surrounded around him Who claimed to be more loyal than himself. But when a testing period came, they all left him one by one. It is a reflection of how fragile PTI was from inside.

Only time will tell but he did remain steadfast with ZA Bhutto. People like him and Aitaz Ahsan were hard core supporters of PPP and remained so until the very end till their own party chose to distance them. But you may very well be right after all what has transpired in the last 2 years, anything is possible in Pakistani Bad politics.Or the next Trojan Horse.

Forgive me for being an eternal optimist, but we’re seeing the likes of Sher Afzal Khan, Iman Mazari, Hammad Azhar, Ali Muhammad Khan, Aliya Hamza, Murad Saeed who can take the baton and move the country forward.
The youth, no matter which party they’re affiliated to, can galvanise the public towards a better Pakistan.
Ofcourse this will be a long and arduous journey.
