The joint search & rescue operation by Pakistan Navy & PMSA will continue until the remaining 4x fishermen are located.

Deeply regret their deaths.

PN knows exactly why this is happening but it is powerless to stop it. Chinese factory trawlers are fishing illegaly in Pak waters and just outside pak's maritime zone. This has resulted in severe drop in catch for the poor Pak fisherman. They're forced to take more and more risks to be able to survive. As the impact of Chinese trawlers is felt, things will only get worse. Expect many many more such deaths in coming future, sadly.

Good job you lack the brains else you would be dangerous.
Now be a good boy and find out where is Gwadar and Hajamru Creek , where the incident occurred.
BTW, an Indian fishing trawler was apprehended by Maldives the other day.
Maybe Indian fishermen are so rich that they prefer to fish while enjoying tropical locations.

You are also quoting some 4 year old news. Anywonder most of the time you appear in a pink saree.

He didn't mention Gwadar directly linked to this incident.
Do read posts carefully before deciding who has brains and who doesn't.
The reference to Indian fishing trawlers in the Maldives is really difficult to understand.
Please stop trolling.

You're deviating from he topic.

The question is Chinese trawlers' increased presence both around and inside Pakistan's exclusive economic zone EEZ which is completely illegal under international maritime law, yet it is happening rampantly and Pak fauj can only watch helplessly as standing up to China is out of the question.

This was the report submitted by Pak's senate committee The Senate Standing Committee on Maritime Affairs has recently stated that foreign trawlers illegally take away fish worth $2 billion from Pakistani waters. https://tribune.com.pk/story/2445297/untapped-economic-potential-of-pakistans-eez

Chin is forcing Pak to allow it to exploit Pak's EEZ https://www.wionews.com/world/chine...h-in-pakistans-exclusive-economic-zone-325066

Yea yea, posting 4 year old news for reference doesn't need a certification of brains.
The reference to Maldives points to the fact that Fishermen often go out of their way to catch their load, likewise these Pakistani Fishermen weren't exactly out there because they were forced to go out there ....and sadly accident do happen in high season.

I wasn't watching the race but looks like PN won the imaginary race it had between itself and IN as to who finds their respective citizens first.

Although I do agree that Chinese fishermen are a threat for not just Pakistan but the entire world, Windjammer is correct in that they had nothing to do within the context of the present situation.

Probably not.

In the Bay of Bengal, btw, the menace is not from Chinese trawlers and fish factories, but by Thai trawlers. Far more troublesome, and the situation is complicated because the Bay is a very poor fishing ground, and the Thai boats have a big chunk of it as their EEZ anyway. That makes it difficult to police.
In the case of the Arabian Sea, Pakistani fishermen have it fairly straightforward, other than the Konkan coast boats.
The Maldives (AND the Sri Lanka) situation is complicated due to the aggressive Tamil Nadu fishermen-capitalists, who go out in highly mechanised boats, with narrow meshes, and don't hesitate to look for big catches throughout the year, not leaving out the breeding season.

It's a complicated situation, and the weather, starting late May ending after the NE Monsoon, is a further complication, but not now. Why they got into trouble now needs looking into.

Leave it.

Nothing so difficult to talk to as people who don't want to hear.

Best to restrict your comments to the willingness of the Indian Navy and the Coast Guard, more to the point, to help. Even, if the fishermen got really unlucky, the Sagar Prahari Bal.

Had the bay of Bengal been good fishing grounds, you would see a lot of activity by Chinese fishermen like as in the Arabian Sea, Horn of Africa and the wider Indian Ocean itself.
