The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament opens the ASELSAN office in Abu Dhabi

On Tuesday, Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş opened the office of the Turkish defense industry company ASELSAN in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.

According to Anadolu Agency, the opening was attended by representatives of the Turkish Parliament, Ankara's ambassador to Abu Dhabi Tugay Tunchar, Head of the Defense Industries Administration of the Presidency of the Republic, Haluk Gurgun, Director General of ASELSAN Ahmet Akyul, Director General of Havelsan Electronic and Aerospace Industries Ahmed Akif Najjar, and Director General of Roketsan Company Murat Ekinci.

Kurtulmuş was briefed by Khaluk Gorgun on the office's work and investments in defense industries.

ASELSAN is one of the most important defense industry companies in Turkey. It was established in 1975, at the initiative of the Turkish Armed Forces Strengthening Foundation, with the aim of meeting the needs of the Turkish army in the field of communications devices.

The company is famous for manufacturing electronic systems and devices for military purposes, such as radar and surveillance systems, air defense systems, weapons control systems, and electronic warfare systems.

The opening of the new office in Abu Dhabi comes within the framework of Turkey's efforts to enhance cooperation with countries in the region in the field of defense industries.
