To be honest 1st one is mine too if it's like Majority Hindus don't eat meat.

there are many who consider eggs as veggies

and there is a vriety that says chicken nahi khatta/khatee per gravy khaa latta/lettee hoon

but as for dairy well no indian food is done without one or another type fo dairy product then be it GHEE or Butter or Dahee it will be there is any veg or non veg curry besides since Makhann/navmeet/butter was very dear to lord krishna hence it is OK and even used as prasad in many tempels (Maakhan /mishri)
