Doesn't make sense economically.

Its the only thing that actually makes sense economically. With purchase power declining for a long time now, its hard to convince any consumer to switch over to a brand new car in 50k+ price range. Most people buy second hand or traditional combustion cars still. BYD cars right now sells around 22 to 35k in the Netherlands. Zeekr is also aggresively marketing here as well. Honestly I just don't see the neccesary progress being made for TOGG to be a top contender.

Togg Achieves Record Sales in December

Domestic car manufacturer Togg delivered 7,300 vehicles in the final month of 2025, showcasing its best monthly performance since starting sales in 2023.

Boosting its annual sales by 30% to surpass the 39,000 mark, the company plans to kick off 2026 at an even faster pace with the new T10X.

Having reached 88,000 customers in three years, Togg has exported over 100 vehicles. In the final quarter of 2025, a total of 240 sales contracts were signed for the Togg T10X and T10F, which opened for orders in Germany.

Finally, Togg's charging network operator Trugo wrapped up 2025 with over 2,200 charging stations and 5 million charging sessions, securing its position as the undisputed market leader.

While car sales are falling in Turkey, the rise in electric vehicles continues!

In Turkey's car market, which contracted by 6.1% in April 2026, the share of electric vehicles reached 20.5% with 16,435 sales.

In the electric market, where Togg led again with 3,821 units, Chinese BYD sold only 438 vehicles, slipping right down to the bottom ranks. Tesla's sales also dropped to 880, with the Model Y continuing its downward movement in the best-sellers list.

The best-selling car by model was the Togg T10X with 2,278 units. Following it were the KGM Torres EVX with 1,604 sales, the Togg T10F with 1,543, and the MINI Countryman with 1,310 units.

In the first four months of 2026, more than 54,000 electric vehicles were sold, bringing their share of the total market to nearly 19%. This shows that one in every five cars sold is fully electric.
