In a decisive move to counter Russia's air dominance, Ukraine is on the verge of receiving advanced F-16 fighter jets. Rutte emphasized the significance of this decision in aligning with military support agreements.
Expressing gratitude, Zelenskiy thanked the Dutch government for preparing the jets, highlighting the urgency of the situation. This response follows Ukraine's plea for allies to provide aircraft to counter Russia's air supremacy, leading to a coalition led by the United States, along with Denmark and the Netherlands. This coalition oversees the donation of aircraft, maintenance plans, and pilot training.
