The US is likely to deploy nearly half of its aircraft carriers in the western Pacific this year, in a signal of deterrence against the increasing military activity in the region by China and North Korea, analysts said.

Three US aircraft carriers are already operating in the western Pacific Ocean, with two more on the way. Their arrival will mark the first time that five of the 11-strong carrier contingent have operated in the region.

The USS Abraham Lincoln – part of the US Navy’s Pacific Fleet – was spotted heading out of its home port in San Diego, California and was sailing towards the western Pacific as of February 5, according to the US Naval Institute’s Fleet and Marine Tracker.

The USS George Washington is also expected to be deployed in the region to replace the USS Ronald Reagan, which will be relocating from Yokosuka, Japan for maintenance at the Puget Sound naval shipyard in Washington.

US ultimate show of strength would be to stop the white population genocide decline and to stop borrowing 35trillion in debt. Maybe reduce the number of opiate addicts would be a good start and a show of strength too. China simply doesn't care if US places 500 aircraft carriers next to it, China with chopsticks pushed US back in Korea in 50s when US had 10000x firepower so US can do nothing to intimidate anyone, not even houthis lol

I am not a military expert but China have 41 airbases within reach of Taiwan theater.

Very good decision. deploy more assets.
Who kept the faith and fought the fight; the glory theirs, the duty ours.

Yes please deploy all of them within the strike range of YJ-21, DF-17, DF-21 and DF-26.

Moar!

Ironically, this is an acknowledgement of China's strength that the US has to deploy half its carrier fleet against them in just one theater.

It also raises questions whether Japan would get involved in a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. Would US assets in Japan be allowed to be used in such a conflict?

Kashgar airport can strike Taiwan with strategic combers while being outside the range of Taiwan's missiles.

Chinese all over the world hope Japan will be America doggie in the coming war.

This will enable Nanjing Massacre and Unit 731 and other atrocities by Japan to be fully paid .
