One dude any more evidence?
Anyway we don't do it here in the UK, home to a very large diaspora.

Same in Ethiopia. These Pakistani hoteliers use our name because no one wants to engage with Pakistanis. Sadly, it brings bad name to our nation.

Even within the UK where there are millions of Pak-origin people, many "Indian" restaurants are exclusively owned and operated by Pakistanis.

The Bangaldeshis have a little more self-respect. They call it Bengali restaurants, which is justified as they're also Bengali.

Indians do the same in Turkey and China, so what's the big deal?

I have never seen an Indian use "Pakistan" as a brand. Can you show any example? Why would anyone want to eat at a Pakistani restaurant?

India referred to south Asia

Jinnah was opposed to calling Baarat as India, and was quite adamant that baarat should be the name

The reason was because he felt the Hindus would try to steal the history and culture of all south Asia and that's what they are trying to do

Indian restaurants for example are normally Muslim owned run with Muslim cultural food including heavy meat including beef dishes, yet we are stuck with a name tag that connects us to a people we have little connection with

Jinnah was a smart smart man who understood why this would occur

The Indians have finally tried to change their name to Baarat and we should support that so we can have clear distinctions between communities

They don't want Indian food, they want Muslim food in Muslim owned and run restaurants, our food for stuck under the Indian heading because it came from south Asia

But our food and restaurants have very little to do with Hindus

Trash and lies, and you know it. So far all I've seen your posts are about are Pakistanis are terrible, Pakistanis are this and that.
Your first and last warning.

In Singapore as well, Pakistani restaurants try to highlight Indian Punjab.

Why else would a Lahori have people dancing on Baisakhi displayed prominently in their restaurant. As much as I want to give them the benefit of the doubt due to shared Punjabi identity, thy always potray themselves from INDIAN Punjab. I know it for a fact cause I have been taken by surprise myself.

I have met Jinnah's family. They are really smart, they remained in India. The Wadis hide their connection to Pak though.

Buddy we have all been to countless restaurants, no Muslim restaurant connects to any Hindu or Hindu culture or identity.

It connects to Muslim history and culture

I've been to Singapore many times and have family there i.e. who built the nation. Punjabi cuisine isn't popular.
Baisakhi is celebrated throughout Pakistan's Punjab and potwar regions. The festival was around before Indian Punjab was formed.
You lack knowledge.

Embarrassing.
The OP thinks Indians have more credibility in the world and Pakistanis would pretend to be Indian?
What complete tosh. Our forefathers fought too hard and long for Pakistan to allow their off spring to pretend they were Indian. You walk anywhere with an abundance of brown faces - all will tell you where they are from and not lie.
