Weapons cache discovered during smuggling from Afghanistan

This incident is a testimony that hundreds of lives of Pakistani civilians and LEAs have been saved.

Was it worth it? Was it really worth jumping into US wars and destroying your own country?

Today Pakistan has a broken economy. The region has left Pakistan far behind. When Pakistan was busy waging US wars for over 2 decades the regional countries were strengthening their economies. Today BD has surpassed Pakistan. Let that just sink in.

You know what the sorry part is? Pakistan will be fighting the likes of TTP for a long time to come. This threat isn't disappearing. The same Americans that your COAS is meeting today have abandoned a vast amount of advanced weaponry in Afghanistan. Guess who is using these weapons against Pakistan?

Crying over spilt milk. Pakistan should never have been in this position to begin with.

Even today the strict measures that should have been taken aren't there. You know why? Pakistan is a country that isn't following its own agenda. It is always dictated to follow instructions.

Catching a cache of arms is nothing to celebrate. Pakistan is dealing with multiple threats.

That's what people don't get, for terrorist organizations and militant groups, men and weapons are easily replaceable and require minimal training because they're expected to be destroyed. This is also why these groups often can match or even exceed payroll of the official army they're fighting, meaning they don't have to pay if the fighter is dead.

An example of this is in Afghanistan where taliban fighters were matching or even exceeding the Afghan army in terms of pay they got, even though they were getting whole sale slaughtered and thr fact that the taliban didn't have anywhere near the amount of financial resources that the previous government did.

This catch doesn't represent anything. It does however establish the fact that miscreants are ready to hurt Pakistan.

When were they ever not ready? Though I suppose it does help to open certain people's eyes.

we really have to target their leadership and not foot soldiers, they are dispensible eitherway!

And we have to counter them ideologically. They are fighting ideologically and using that ideology to recruit more fighters. Even if ttp as a group disappears but the ideology is still there, another group will appear.
And by countering them ideologically I don’t mean fuelling their propaganda by promoting unacceptable ideas in a conservative society. Counter them Islamically. This fight isn’t “war on terror”. This fight is from the last 1400 yrs against the Khawarij who use Islam for their personal desires.
The state needs to counter them Islamically. Make education about Khawarij mandatory in Islamic subjects Pakistan has in schools.
