Here is a recent release from TTP's 2023 portfolio alone (excluding BLA)

As you can see since the Taliban's rise to power in Afghanistan, there has been a significant rise in attacks and confidence in TTP and ethno-nat separatist forces as a whole - as Afghanistan is being used as a terrorist base for these operations

Total attacks: 881
Total killed and/or injured: 2000+

It hasn't been long since the Taliban assumed power, this means they will continue to build infrastructure that will increase the intensity of the insurgencies within Pakistan. Things will get more bloody.

The Taliban ideologically represent Pashtun Islamism - there claim on Pakistani land will never go and TTP is seen as an extension of themselves.

For long-term security Pakistan should have installed (or attempted to install) A Tajik/Hazara Islamist regime without Afghan Pashtuns that would be more likely to co-operate with Pakistan and could suppress any Taliban movements on their side and cross-border terrorism.

Or the alternative is by arming every tribal/ethnic/religious rivalry and making them fight & kill each other.

In unstable areas for decades like Southern Balochistan, which has seen unrest since 1960s, the only solution at this point seems to be demographic engineering to suppress & dilute hostile elements.

Our passive approach will never weild any success. It has been a stalemate for decades, no one is winning or losing. You need to have a clear and hard end-goal to achieve for success.

The TTP/IEA has a concrete end-goal, we have nothing so our soldiers & civillians continue to die in an endless stalemate.

Learn from all global insurgencies, Turkish approach to the Kurdish insurgency, Chinese, even the Indians at this point given how badly you're failing.

If Pakistan doesn't align itself with Islamic ideology and not do what is required of Muslims then it has to bare the consequences.

Who is deciding that and based on what authority ?
It's a really weird claim, because every sect claims they follow True Islam, and any attempt to enforce Shariah in a certain way will inevitably draw the ire of other sects that claim otherwise. If we had the Pakistani state follow Barelvis and mandate Pakistani Shariah follow Barelvi interpretations (for example, the way Barelvis call the Adhan is noticably different to other sects), you can bet other sects like Ahl-i-Hadith, or Deobandis would 100% object.

This uncouth to say… but it really now sounds like those pills that claim to reduce fat overnight with each claiming to be the original formula.

Its basically the business of religion and prettying it up to sell your own brand or even if not selling; finding something to feel unique about and have some immortality project.

At the end, Pakistan needs to seal the border by both barriers and aggressive kinetic border policing

Yes. But we really need is the decision makers to wake up and smell the coffee.
Fundamental issue is, that they are "cha" drinkers, as far as caffeine goes.
