During the briefing session, FFC’s management shared that it was nearing completion of the transition to full Shariah compliance. “Their focus remains clear on achieving full Shariah compliance, and it is only a matter of time before completion,” read the report.

Eh? This is perhaps the most non-sensical thing in the whole story!

If it is fauji foundation , will it give some benefits to ordinary local public of Sindh?. Will any development occur with this earned money for Sindh?

Only if that is sharia compliant!

No, that is not what I said. Pakistan has tried to do this before, without much to show for it. That is all.
That was a different process technology......the one FFC is exploring is different.....however the reason it hasn't taken off is because the final cost of the gas produced by the process will be equal or greater than buying natural gas on the spot market.....which is why it didn't take off.

Uh-huh. This time it will be different in the outcomes? Yeah, right.

I thought that we had vast gas reserves.....?

Where did I say the outcome will be different?

I said, the process (as in the physical and chemical process) to gasify coal is different to the one tried earlier.

Based on the process itself you will then make the bankable feasibility if producing gas with this process technology will yield in gas of quality and BTU value to supplement or replace existing natural gas. Considering that the process is well beyond pilot stage in China atleast, but still not scaled up to industrial level says a lot that the final product price currently doesn't match natural gas or LNG costs..............

FFC is looking at it from a different perspective, they need consistent reliable supply of methane as feedstock for their fertilizer operations and so does all other fertilizer plants since methane is used as both fuel and feedstock for fertilizer process plants. They want something that can be produced locally to offset decline in local natural gas production and also not have to rely on unreliable or sanction worthy LNG imports.

This gas if produced will be used for manufacturing fertiliser , if you look at the project at it's entirety it's very feasible and cost effective.

I didn't read your post fully before answering.... you said the same thing .... Cheers.

Of course. Of course.

I will wait for the actual results, not claims and hopes. No rush.

:D

That paragraph had me confused; it's almost like throwing religion, so it's easily fed to the idiots.

Because it never fails to work its magic in Pakistan, while the magicians walk away with everything they want.
