Israel Genocide in Gaza - 2023 to present - Part ll

Israel without US support will continue to exist but will likely have to be more peaceful with its neighbors

It will no longer have the extreme edge that allows it to go on adventures and tangle the US into wars

India or China cannot replace that. India lacks weapons systems to give Israel edge. China has no interest.

Americans will be much better off. They will actually be able to change many laws and immigration laws to greatly halt immigration. Free speech will actually be free speech finally. Gun rights will get better.

America will be respected in the middle east + Asia, will have great economic ties with Arabs.

There's a chance Israel blackmails America or tries to ruin the party by embarking on a big war in the region and threatening to use nukes and even nuke Europe

Which is why the US military should be prepared to neutralize Israel's nuclear force if it comes to it

Unless the composition of the congress and Senate changes it is highly unlikely that meaningful change will occur in US/Israel relations.

France and Spain renew push to curb UN veto power
——
France and Spain have renewed calls to limit the use of veto powers at the UN Security Council, arguing the mechanism has repeatedly paralyzed global action in the face of humanitarian crises like Gaza. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said the council must be restructured to reflect current geopolitical realities, advocating permanent seats for African nations as well as Japan, Germany, and Brazil.

Barrot noted that France and Mexico have long championed an initiative to restrict veto rights in cases of mass atrocities, with the backing of over 20 countries, criticizing the council’s failure to act collectively on Gaza. “We must unlock decisions that are blocked by veto when basic human rights are at stake,” he said.

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares echoed the call, stressing that Spain’s position on upholding international law applies equally to Gaza, and Sudan. He urged unhindered aid access to Gaza, accountability for attacks on humanitarian workers, and respect for International Court of Justice rulings. “Israel cannot have a right of veto,” Albares said, as the Red Cross warned that Gaza’s fragile so-called ceasefire remains “highly complex, sensitive, and dangerous.”

Professor Yuval Noah Harari, a professor of political studies - Yedioth Ahronoth:

Hamas had hoped that its surprise attack would lead to a comprehensive campaign by the Arab and Islamic worlds against Israel, but it did not happen, and the only parties that carried out direct violent acts were Hezbollah, the Houthis, Iran, and its armed groups in Syria and Iraq, none of which recognized Israel's right to exist.

In contrast, Egypt and Jordan did not violate the peace treaties they signed with Israel in 1979 and 1994, and the Persian Gulf states adhered to their normalization agreements signed in 2020. Many Arab countries helped Israel in various ways to defend itself.

In April 2024 and June 2025, Jordan intercepted Iranian missiles and drones on their way to Israel with the help of information from Persian Gulf countries. The Palestinian Authority maintained silence despite immense pressure from Hamas and numerous provocations from the Israeli government and settlers.

The Palestinians of '48 did not respond to Hamas' wishes to rise up against the occupation, but this did not happen. The leaders of the Arab parties strongly condemned the October attack.

Texas police showed up at the home of a disabled U.S. Navy veteran without a warrant after he made comments “about the Jewish community” and Israel.

Officers claimed they were there to ensure he didn’t intend to “harm people.”

The veteran promptly ordered them off his property and says he now plans to audit the officers involved.

Government Media Office in Gaza:

◾There are 20,000 unexploded explosive devices still present in the Strip.

◾These explosive devices are scattered throughout the destroyed residential neighborhoods, among homes and lands, posing a direct and dangerous threat to the lives of civilians, especially children, workers, and farmers who move through the rubble or attempt to reclaim their lands.

◾These bombs are internationally prohibited and contain highly explosive materials that can remain active for many years, making them time bombs that threaten public safety, hinder reconstruction efforts, and prevent residents from returning to their homes.

◾Numerous incidents and explosions resulting from these remnants have already been recorded, leading to the martyrdom and injury of several citizens, particularly children.
