I do not have much high hopes in ASBM tech as it is still unproven and whatever pakistan can throw at IN in even an isolated case is insufficient for threat posed by a conventrated IN fleet. Saturating their AEW aircraft may not even be necessary as india has very limited capability in this regards already. The problem inherently lies in the fact that whilst Southern command PAF is highly capable of a strike the question is just how large scale strike the threat requires will likely be beyond their capability without repositioning several assets and giving up a large ammount of capability needed to keep IAF busy to fight IN. The alternative is large subsurface and surface assets of PN being commited to a ToT attack that will be very hard to pull off and make them very exposed in the process. In either case pakistan will risk enormous ammounts of men and material in order to simply limit some of the INs ability to operate. The only conclusive method to deal with a concentrated IN fleet before it poses a threat to karachi and PN is simply by using tactical nuclear weapons and you must know why thats not a very easy option

Such a large waste of resources to use one missile in this day and age. 2 jets, 2 pilots and 1 weapon system operator to do what one single Babur or read or storm shadow can do.

All this from the mirages has to be done with line of sight aswell as they need to be guided to the target and the ew jamming/self defence capabilities are limited compared to jF17/f16/j10ce etc. it’s a shame that PAF cannot afford to replace/retire them now.

Or it could just be narrative shaping address for now as it's their National Unity Day. Probably will spew hate against Pakistan, though it'll be noteworthy if he mentions anything other than "terrorism from Pakistan" - e.g. if he mentions anything about Sir Creek or supporting Afghanistan's "right to defend". Most likely case is he'll be setting up some narrative that he can exploit later, probably after elections.
