But tbh, there could also be Iron domes that would typically protect these northern parts of Israel, but Gaza and Hezbollah militias have FIXED And UKRAINIZED Israel's Iron dome batteries and general air defense infrastructure- its degraded. All the weeks of attacks on Israeli Iron dome batteries have probably worn them down, so gaps have opened up, and the general disarray thats increasing in Israeli society could be contributing to the lack of Iron dome coverage. Hezbollah hitting sensitive sites that are deep in Israel with heavier rockets is making me say it now- Israel and Hezbollah are definitely entering their own war, but it will be a different war- Hezbollah is energized, Israel is fatigued and ALONE.

What you are saying is what was said by Larry C. Johnson a few days ago: The Israeli misstep of attacking Hezbollah will bring Israel's destruction and there in lies the greatest hope for the Palestinians.
At this point, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to go back to the status quo ante for either side. Israelis can't afford to appear to have lost their vaunted 'deterrence' and Hezbollah knows once Gaza is totally subdued then Hezbollah itself is next.
This is not a Russia-Ukraine conflict or an Indian-Pakistan conflict or any of the conflicts we have seen. Here two warring parties know the stakes are existential in nature.

And something will have to give!!

Of course it is a war on both Hamas and on Gaza the country where Hamas rule.

It is like other wars such as Russia vs Ukraine, both is waging war against the other country. Doesn't mean you can frame it as if Israel intend to genocide all Gaza civilian as the narrative of your preference just because Israel is waging war on Gaza.
