What is the use of targeting the border posts made from mud bricks ?

Specially when the enemy knows that retaliation is going to come and eventually they run away with very little casualties?

The ammunition used to destroy the border posts might be more expensive than the border post itself?

Why not strike deep, 150 - 200 km at their command and control centers?

And create a 50 km buffer inside enemy territory so that civilians are not harmed from close border clashes ?

PA really needs to work towards creating a buffer zone before dems take power, and all that human rights violation BS resume, Afghans won't change, because they are claiming parts of Pakistan and don't acecpt international border, whoever is in charge needs to seriously start thinking about a 20-30km deep bufferzone/no mans land.
