FM and PM are delusional hoping that they can wedge India and US strategic relationship. Propping up Indian army is strategic for West to counter Pakistan and China.

I don't think they are delusional in this regard, at least the former 😝 the defense pact b/w USA and India is not new and has been in place since 2005, renewed every 10 years (2005, 2015, 2025 -> next 2035)

They (at least the former) are probably more well aware of the situation than we are (or at least I am)

The US arming India for strategic value against China and Pakistan = Agreed

The difference is that politicians in Pakistan have enough internal boogiemen and angst to not need to make up BS regarding geopolitics to win elections.
