There is nothing constitutional or rational about it. It is just a power grab by elites. There is no representative parliament, but a building held hostage by a barrel of guns, masking a loot.

what's the point of this bullshit anymore, just declare martial law and make yourself dictator for life also the Constitution has much value as toilet paper ATP.

He's slow, give him some time ⏲

Asim Munir now has the same powers as Parvez Musharraf. He’s got constitutional protection, immunity from prosecution and can only be removed via a 2/3rd majority of the parliament and he is only 57 meaning he is going nowhere for a long while

They keep awam distracted with Afghanistan, Kashmir, Gaza and continue to consolidate their firm grip on people, judiciary, media, land and all tax money.

They have been doing this since generations and will continue doing the same with your children, grand children and great grand children.

IK was your last hope to break free from this boot rule but sadly you people abandoned him.

According to the draft tabled in the Senate today, the amendment would make the Chief of the Army Staff the constitutionally recognised Chief of the Defence Forces, effectively merging the army chief’s current authority with a new overarching title that places him at the top of Pakistan’s armed services.

Funeral of judicial independence

At the heart of the amendment is the creation of a new apex court: the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC). Inserted into the Constitution as Chapter 1A, the FCC would have its own chief justice — serving a fixed three-year term — and judges, who may be appointed from the Supreme Court (SC), senior High Court (HC) judges with at least seven years of experience, or very senior advocates with over two decades in practice. Judges would retire at 68.

The amendment further stipulates that the president may transfer a high court judge from one high court to another on the recommendation of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. A judge of a high court who does not accept a transfer under this Article shall be deemed to have retired from his office.

This was bound to happen. When judges are not giving decision based on facts or documents on hand but rather they give decision based on social media trends judges uncle video made by pti to influence, wife and kids influence, making SC a head office of pti, giving decision based on fabricated videos, becoming a party activist rather than judge etc.

Judges knows who is right or wrong but fact is that anywhere around the world decision are giving based on documents avaliable as judges and court are not admin or excutivie authority and in Pakistan just to entertain one party it officially became a head office of PTI.
