From what I see, it's time to move capital from Tehran. They don't deserve it honestly. Upto 90 percent of national welfare amenities plus governmental buildings plus Tehran consuming most of national budget like a giant leech and finally this.

Ever since this small village turned into capital of Iran by Qajars, Iran has experienced its worst historic periods. Not even today they show any loyalty to their fatherland.

Isfahan has always been our choice.

Maybe. But Isfahan is much better I guess. It used to be Iranian capital during the reign of Safavids for its centrality and the fact that it was a place for gathering of Iranian armies from every corner of the country.

Isfahan is symbol of unity of Iranian tribes.

Isfahan is not a suitable place for a large population due to lack of water and agricultural land.

Put the elections and loyalty and the cultural fk up that Tehran imposed on our country aside. Forget them

God forbid, Tehran is most vulnerable to natural disasters.

And Isfahan had Zayande rood. Before it was completely dried.

Who deserves it? And it is just a number not ratio. If you divide number of martyrs by the population, you would find an interesting result. Where Tehran is almost non existent.

The people of Isfahan are good people, but Isfahan has serious problems for being the capital of Iran.
I myself have been looking at Google Earth for a long time for the capital city of Iran and I did not find a better place than Tehran. After Tehran,cities of Shiraz, Isfahan and Qazvin are also good places. But Tehran is a much better place

Not just that. Moving capital to an other province has been on the table for years.

Tehran is on a huge faultline. Even if the capital doesn't change, the governmental buildings and other important organization must move to other cities.

The people of Isfahan are good people, but Isfahan has serious problems for being the capital of Iran.

while you guys are at it a suggestion , Kohkeluyeh and Boyerahmad have the highest participation in election in all the country and the province also produce more than 17% of iran income while only have less than 1.5% of the population, why not move the capital there


about 41% participant was country average ,Kohkeluyeh and boyerahmad was 64.27 Tehran claimed to be 24% (wonder how once the first Tehran candidate would have entered by 1.5 million vote this time by less than 350000 vote) .

Seems like Iran's military has activated a plan to degrade terrorists hosted and active on Pakistani soil. Smart not to let your adversaries build up huge threats to your national security right across from your border, look at the cost Russia is paying for not doing this in Ukraine earlier. So far, it doesnt seem Pakistan has any cards in its deck that will deter Iran from reaching terrorists in Pakistan (or Iraq, or other parts of the ME).
