Turkish Missile Programs

they could buy sky sting 250 km range

btw AN-APG/81 X Band Radar on the F-35 can not detect Eurofighter from 250 km away ,,,, not even 200 km

F-35 can detect Eurofighter from 160 km away
No need 250 km SKY STING ..... 160 km AIM-120C8 is enough for this duty

For Greece, these systems are good for any skirmish over the Aegean, otherwise Greece and Turkey will probably not see a full scale war, god willing. The Greeks may get a limited advantage but the Turkish military-industrial base is turning out to be a juggernaut which will eventually equalize the limited qualitative advantage the Greeks may have over Turks in the short-medium term.

F-35s to Turkey may also become a possibility for the sake of deterrence between the two and keeping the lid on any potential conflagration.

E-7T AEWC and ALP-310G can guide Missiles within 110-120 km

Pakistan used AEWC to guide PL-15 missile from 180+ km away via link-17

--------------------

However, we will not use the E-7T AEWC here because there is a risk of being shot down.

The land-based APL-310G AESA radar can detect the F-35 from 120+ km away and can guide 150+ km SIPER Block2 air defense missile.
No, AWACS can only provide mid course updates to guide A2A missiles, terminal homing is impossible at L/S band frequencies..

They need to take j 20 radar 1000 km range

Apparently,Israeli companies are offering us a lot of systems and technologies, but for some weird reason we're not buying anything. In a recent article by Ptisi(Flight and Space)that mentions rumors of why the MoD and/or government are not doing much to actually purchase equipment or move on with projects, one of the rumors is the Israelis are fed up with us stalling and procrastinating for so long.

The current MoD is notorious online for being reluctant to sign purchases for the Armed Forces. Currently, one of the biggest rumors is that the MoD and PM are locked in a rivalry,
where either the PM doesn't give the ok for money to be spent for purchases or the MoD won't move on with big projects fast, because he's looking forward to claim the party leadership and hence not have any criticism on signing bad or expensive deals,in the future.

The article by Ptisi is supurb, but I don't know if Google can translate certain parts of greek slang and humor accurately. I could try it though.

You can create missiles with their own AESA like the PL-15 for terminal guidance.

The FOV for onboard sensors on A2A missiles is narrow. The missile is also limited in the amount of power available for sensors and compute. So the general rule is A2A < Fighter < AWACS< ground sensors in terms of power, performance, range, resolution, reliability.

Maybe greece is short of money to pay

A2A and Air Defense Missiles have their own RF seeker for terminal guidance

and what about mid course updates ? 30 km ? 50 km or 100 km ?

btw We can not use E-7T AEWC against the F-35
E-7T can detect the F-35 from 110+ km away while the F-35 can detect the E-7T AEWC from 200+ km away ..... there is a risk of being shot down

Turkish E-7T AEWCs will stay outside the front line

---------------------------

We can use land based early warning AESA Radars ALP-300G / ALP-310G

Greek F-35s will be delivered until 2030 and will be operational until 2032

in my opinion , until 2030 Turkiye should deploy ground based CAFRAD AESA Radar complex in Izmir , Balıkesir and Dalaman/MUGLA to detect and guide missiles on the F-35s

S Band Active Phased Array Long Range Search Radar : max range 750 km
X Band Active Phased Array Illumination Radar : range of 150 km

Ground based CAFRAD AESA Radar complex can detect the F-35s from 120+ km away and can guide 150+ km SIPER Block-2 Air Defense Missiles to hit the F-35s over the Aegean

CAFRAD AESA Radar complex and SIPER-2 AD Missile would be lethal solution

We should deploy 3 CAFRAD Radars and 48 cells Ground based MIDLAS VLS for the air Bases in Izmir , Balıkesir , Dalaman/ MUGLA for 48 SIPER Block-2 SAMs against the F-35s

Fighter Jets uses X band AESA Radars to detect the F-35s only from 30-35 km away

but L and S band early warning AESA Radars detect the F-35 from 110-120 km away
It's an unproven claim. F-35's incorporate carbon nano tube fiber mat into its skin. This material is effective against L band radar. There are claims of detection however it's important to note the pilot of the F-35 can choose to reveal his/her position to an emitter depending on circumstances. In other words, detecting an F-35 beyond 40 NM isn't always possible. Particularly when the sensor is operating in a dense EM environment - typical during active military operations. Note I said 40 NM, that is approximately the range at which an IR sensor can detect/track the F-35 again because the F-35 isn't optimized for MWIR. Detecting an F-35 at a 110 km at peace time doesn't necessarily guarantee the same outcome during hostilities.

Turkish engineer and businessman Ergün Kırlıkovalı is the producer of the special coating material that provides stealth capability to American B-2 and F-35

Now, as a Turkish company in USA is the sole supplier for these two aircraft, the B-2 and F-35. We've been the sole supplier for the B-2 for over 30 years, and for the F-35 since 2006, that is, for 19 years

Ok . We need to wait and see until 2028-2030 period
We will see capabilities of the F-35s against Turkish Radars over the Aegean

ASELSAN has developed a special RAM material that reduces RCS by 1000 times.

We have a counter attack with advanced technologies ANKA-3 flying-wing stealth UCAV with high potential same stealth capability with the F-35

-- ANKA-3 doesnt have horizontal and vertical stabilisation to reduce RCS
-- The exhaust will be inside the body to reduce its RCS
-- Full of composite material to reduce its RCS
-- Radar-absorbent materials (RAM) to reduce RCS
-- Internal weapon bays to reduce its RCS

According to Prof.Dr Feridun TASDAN
Radars, which can detect the F-15 from 200 km, can only see the ANKA-3 when it approaches as close as 26 km.

Let's say 30 km ... You fly around it, gather intelligence, and then you go back, and They don't even know it.

He is a US Citizen

but He is a Turkish inventor, engineer and businessman
He was born in Türkiye and studied at the university in Türkiye

He founded Integrated Polymer Industries Inc in the USA which is the sole supplier the special coating material for these two Aircraft, the B-2 and F-35

Even though Türkiye was removed from the F-35 program, a Turkish engineer's most critical special product is still being used in F-35
