At the “Grain. Pigs. Meat – 2025” forum, a global breakthrough in the fight against African swine fever was presented. Nguyen Van Dip, director of AVAC VIET NAM company, talked about the world’s first effective vaccine against ASF and Vietnam’s experience in eradicating the disease.

Indicators that changed global practice

“After a single vaccination, at least 80% of pigs develop antibodies in just 7 days, and within 14 days, 100% have immunity,” Nguyen Van Dip reported.

Key characteristics of the vaccine:

– Reliable protection for five months without side effects
– In regions with mass vaccination, the number of ASF outbreaks decreased by 90%
– The vaccine is safe for animals of all ages
– The virus is not transmitted between vaccinated animals
– Collective immunity is created

“This is a historic breakthrough for the global pig industry. For the first time, humanity has received a real tool to control a virus that has devastated livestock and economies of entire countries for decades,” the speaker emphasized.

The formula for Vietnamese success

According to Nguyen Van Dip, Vietnam defeated ASF through the synergy of three elements:

– Vaccination – mass vaccination of herds
– Strict biosecurity – control at all stages of production
– Systematic farmer training – preparation for new work standards

“We didn’t wait for the disease to disappear on its own. We built a system where the virus simply has no chance. This is not an experiment – this is a new standard of pig farming,” he stressed.

Prospects for Ukraine

Vietnam’s experience is now becoming a benchmark for countries looking to secure their markets. Ukraine has the opportunity to replicate this success and even surpass it by combining the Vietnamese vaccination model with the Ukrainian system of biosecurity compartments.

This model – science, trust, and innovation – could become the basis of a new Ukrainian success story, where every farmer will have protected herds, and the industry will have stable profits and an open path to global markets.

The Japanese military team is visiting China, trying to put out the fire for their new prime minister and keep the Chinese rational. I can only say that they are doing nothing. We have waited too long.
You know the difference how the Japanese see Vietnam versus China?
While Japanese pirates and other psycho regularly harassing China, they never dare to harass Viietnam for hundreds of years.
The only unfriendly visit they made was during the short period of French occupation.
Takaichi will never dare provoke Viet Nam with such language.

History is always a burden. Takaichi has made her intention clear in public, Taiwan is under Japanese protection. Japan will go to war. There is no doubt. Did I say previous you can’t change people mindset if they are not willing to do? Geography matters. Japan sees Taiwan as itself, an ocean away.

A Chinese official threatened to behead the Japanese prime minister after she suggested Japan could become involved in a war over Taiwan.

Sanae Takaichi, the Japanese leader, said Chinese military action against Taiwan, such as a blockade, could trigger a “survival-threatening situation”, which could force Japan to become involved.

In response, Xue Jian, China’s consul general in Osaka, threatened to “cut off a dirty neck without a moment of hesitation” in a post on X along with a news article citing Ms Takaichi’s comments.

“Are you ready for that?” he added, followed by an angry-face emoji.

The Chinese diplomat also shared several posts written by other people, including one which said that if Japan were to attack Chinese forces, “it would immediately provoke a counterattack from China”, and if Ms Takaichi wants to “casually talk about initiating war as if it’s nothing, the country is finished”.

Minoru Kihara, Japan’s top government spokesman, told reporters on Monday the post was “extremely inappropriate”.

He said Japan’s foreign ministry and the Japanese embassy in China lodged a protest and asked for the post to be deleted.

The post is no longer visible on Mr Xue’s official X account.

Lin Jian, China’s foreign ministry spokesman, said on Monday that the country had lodged a serious protest with Japan over Ms Takaichi’s comments, claiming attempts by Japanese officials to “meddle on cross-strait affairs” would cause serious damage to China-Japan relations.

Ms Takaichi stood by her comments on Monday when asked in parliament to clarify her position.

“Although I did state a number of possible scenarios, I also said the government will make a comprehensive judgment on whether the situation constitutes a ‘survival-threatening situation’ taking into account all information,” she said.

Taiwan has provoked the "wolf warrior" mentality! The Chinese Consul General in Osaka has threatened to "cut off Sanae Takaichi's dirty head."

Reporter Min Wenyu / Comprehensive Report

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi recently stated in the Diet that a "crisis in Taiwan" could constitute an "existential crisis" for Japan, sparking strong dissatisfaction from China. Late on the 8th, Xue Jian, the Chinese Consul General in Osaka, posted a scathing remark on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating, "That filthy head that barged in must be cut off without hesitation," which Japanese media interpreted as a "murder proclamation" against Takaichi, quickly igniting public outrage.

On July 7, Sanae Takaichi stated at the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of Japan that if China were to blockade the Taiwan Strait with warships and launch a military attack, the Japanese government might consider it an "existential crisis," in which case the Self-Defense Forces could be deployed based on the right of collective self-defense. She emphasized, "If Taiwan is in trouble, Japan is in trouble," and urged the government to prepare for the worst-case scenario.

According to the Sankei Shimbun, when Xue Jian reposted a related report from the Asahi Shimbun, he angrily said, "That filthy head should be cut off," and added an angry emoji. This statement immediately caused a stir, with many Japanese netizens criticizing it as "a harbinger of the prime minister's assassination" and "Chinese diplomats have no understanding of diplomatic etiquette." The post was subsequently deleted.

However, Xue Jian did not back down. On the 9th, he posted an article criticizing the statement that "if Taiwan is in trouble, Japan is in trouble" as a foolish "path to death." He also said that Japan "abandoned its obligations as a defeated nation and forgot the UN Charter," and warned that if it continues to interfere in the Taiwan Strait, it may "once again head towards national extinction."

Japan is historically far away from Vietnam. They did kill about 3 millions of Vietnamese in WW II after all, not exactly just unfriendly.

The Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant (NZHK), a subsidiary of Russia’s state-owned Rosatom, has exported nuclear fuel to Vietnam’s Dalat research reactor, the company has reported. NZHK has stated that “The fuel supplied will ensure the unit can function reliably until the 2030s.”

Vietnam’s Dalat reactor, functioning as part of the Dalat Nuclear Research Institute, is used to develop radioisotopes, conduct activation analysis and research, and in training programs and additional professional qualifications for specialists.

NZHK said that the institute supplied a daily total of over 15,000 curies (Ci, a non-SI unit of radioactivity) of various radioactive substances to 23 hospitals in the country, providing swift diagnosis and treatment for around 500,000 patients each year.

The institute also uses nuclear and isotope technologies in areas such as agriculture, geology, oil and gas, archaeology, transport, irrigation, and the environment.

The Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant specializes in the production of nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants (NPPs) and research reactors—fuel elements, fuel assemblies, and production equipment. It is Russia’s only producer of lithium metal and is capable of processing 600 tonnes of uranium a year.

All recent previous Japanese governments want military buildup, Takaichi apparently follows this path she plays the long game. Given Japan population collapse I doubt the plan is realistic.

I know they want to remilitarize all along to become a "normal" country as they put it, they are just waiting for the opportunistic moment, both Japan and Germany think their time to rearm has come now. I don't think China, Russia and US will ever allow both Japan and Germany to possess mass destruction weapons such as nukes.
