As ever, it comes down to which course you want to study and the quality of the university in that country for the degree and how much you can afford, and of course, immigration ease.

Some people may argue "for, or against" the rankings of universities, but there is not really a practical way of working out which they can/should go to.

This is assuming that Muslim countries education is shit, except for Turkey and Malaysia which is better.

I heard Saudi Arabia has one good university KAUST. I heard there are big plans for that university.

Yes, Egypt has one good university which is the American University of Cairo.

Yes, Pakistan has one good university which is Aga Khan Univerisity.

These universities have an internationally good reputation.

That but also language is one of the biggest barriers. English is the global language and not only because of the British empire. Thus UK, US, Canada, Australia attract a lot of students.
BTW, I don't consider Belize or Jamaica or Caribbean places to be 'English speaking' as much as they try to sell them to be. Try their English!! Once, on a Caribbean cruise, I went to a port shop were a couple of employees were talking with each other. After some attempt to try to understand them, I asked: 'What language is that?'. The guy said 'English'. I felt so stupid!!

True, that is why Turkey and also Malaysia are also seen as alternatives.

lately, I have been observing my nephews going to Taiwan, Thailand, Japan and South Korea..

I have one distant relative, who had planned, a child birth in Jan 2025, but Trump victory derailed his plans, he is civil servant on a student visa, studying Phd in USA!

also, Sweden, Germany have lost reputation, bec. I dont find many people with good jobs there!

UK, Australia and the USA are last countries, ordinary person should seek now, unless you are extremely well off and rich

Turkey?? I hear expat living in Turkey is hard because so few of them speak English, unlike in Pakistan. I assume the education is also not very English friendly in Turkey but I don't know.

Well, I cannot fault Trump for that. The extreme level of gaming and cheating the visa and immigration system is among the reasons for Mr Trump's election and re-election.

The birth citizenship tourists are not fully deterred yet though. I know of a family of doctors comfortably settled in Jeddah who nevertheless came to the US just to birth their child and get that passport.

Many of these birth citizenship tourists even skip paying the hospital bill afterwards.

Right. America is the Land of Opportunity and the Land of Opportunist!

The best ranked universities in the Muslim world are located in KSA. Even AI confirms this. A simple Google search (Google AI) as well.

Surprised to see KFUPM in Dhahran (KSA) being the highest ranked university in the Muslim world (67) according to the ranking you posted. Would have expected to see KAUST and King Saud universities ranked higher. But on the other hand, not that surprised given their strong ties to ARAMCO, petroleum and chemical engineering (world leaders) etc.

they are not stupid, these loopholes exist to outbid local resident workers

but, if any body thinks, exploiting these loopholes would change their lives, is seriously mistaken

I know 1 family, who immigrated to Chicago in late 80s, their child has a big business now, married a daughter of congress man....

but..

his days are numbered bec. he has been diagnosed cancer; he exploited every system he could in the USA!
(own trucking business in Wisconsin)
but life is funny, all of their family is nearly bankrupt, only achievement in their lives is that, they have US passport, they will repeatedly tell me!

I believe them, they are happy but live on paycheck to paycheck

I know a director of Delliotte in LA too, earns in millions but he also cannot hide, he looses at that rate as well, only thing he has to show is his big car and house at mountain side

besides that, there is nothing good in his life, only fear of loosing everything

As someone who has done higher education from the UK, I would put China at the top of that list.
