Do they have to pull it from Canada, when NADRA database from within Pakistan has had multiple leaks already? I'm sure half of our ID's have already been sold on Dark Web

I meant registered for ID card not for Child Registration Certification.
As CRCs had no much value back then (Without picture, biometric data anyone could bring a CRC to NADRA office and get a card with those particulars but now things are different.

I was hinting at the last leak period b/w 2019-2023. So, I'm assuming anyone who already had a CNIC prior to 2019 are susceptible of it being included in the leak. However, I also don't know about the NADRA workings so my assumption could very well be wrong.

India is playing the game well this time but it was too predictable. The terrorist attack, followed by ‘thorough’ investigation, which will be followed by punishing the ‘abettors’ at their time of choosing.

Pakistan is well prepared this time to counter any moves.

However, Pakistan still faces a situation where the initiative is in the hand of enemy and its relying on protection against initial India attack and having to counter attack.

The establishment and foreign office need to think outside the box and take control of the escalation ladder. The ladder is not only to be controlled during war time but starting from the time when an adversary thinks of an adventure.

Any how, on a macro level, you have a situation where IWT is in abeyance and that conversation is under the rug. In addition, the adversary is keeping the pressure up. Furthermore, the western front has opened up. Hence, you are in a worse situation to face the adversary this time around.

Logically, is Pakistan approaching the point, where it needs to target sites in India in response to terrorist attacks in Pakistan? Is that the deterrence? The unpredictability that itself will bring stability to South Asia as that control then goes out of India's hands?

It will mean Pakistan going from a reactive approach to a pro-active approach, and one that also carries some risk.

Yes NADRA had several vulnerabilities in past.
But leakage of millions of IDs data was absolutely fake propaganda.
I almost read all of the NADRA's internal guidelines and adviseries regarding such incidents but never knew of such major breaches.
But yes some corrupt officials were involved in data selling and too little were punished.
