Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Why is this still under question when DG ISPR press brief mentioned a surveillance aircraft was lightly damaged.
Because these two @Olympus81 and @Cipher212 are state backed enemy trolls engaged in social media psychological warfare, and trained to divert and change the narrative.
For 5 decades the print, electronic, and later social media had a single topic to quote when diverting the narrative; the "93k surrender" in the 1971 Civil war. Geo-Political events, nuclear standoffs, since then have rendered that topic meaningless, and in fact more of an embarrassment considering the several thousand enemy soldiers killed during those two weeks of conflict and the loss of the vital Chambh-Jhaurian corridor in Kashmir.
Now the enemy propagandists have a new topic to drum up in their propaganda narrative.
- 9 Pakistani bases destroyed, and no Indian Air Force aircraft
lost. Pakistani planes damaged and destroyed.
- Ceasefire plea by Pakistan.
That's the propaganda narrative that enemy social media trolls will disseminate over and over again. They will do it surreptitiously by innocently raising the topic.

The fact that ALL Pakistani air bases are operational and ALL Pakistani aircraft both combat and civilian are freely flying inside their airspace should be the ultimate humiliation for the world's fourth largest air force; an air-force that has FAILED to establish air superiority, and shut down Pakistan's airspace in four wars over seven decades.

By comparison, the enemy's ally Israel established air superiority over Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt in 1967 and has now extended its air superiority over Iraq, Iran, Yemen, and Qatar despite having a numerically far smaller air force.

I guess this question as to WHY the Indian Air Force has been unable to establish air superiority over a neighboring nation with a 7:1 numerical advantage and possessing cutting edge technology and the most modern combat aircraft will remain unanswered.
The Indian Air Force enjoys exactly the same level of intelligence and technology support from the USA and Western countries, as its ally the Israeli Air force. Yet the competence is vastly different.
Example: 100+ combat and support aircraft of the Israeli Air Force flew 2000 km over hostile territory successfully striking 30 targets inside Iran (which had a layered surface to air missile defense) and did not lose a single aircraft. The Iranian Air Force was grounded with air bases heavily damaged and dozens of aircraft destroyed on the ground. The Iranian Air Force is grounded since and Israel maintains air superiority allowing it to strike at will.
Compare this with the Indian Air Force performance flying 75 combat aircraft over 100 km missions on 9 targets.

Even our enemy's ally Israel is embarrassed at the Indian Air Force's incompetence. This is reflected in the complete silence and no congratulations to Indian Air Force over successful airstrikes. In fact the Israeli Air Force appears extremely disappointed with its ally and there were no invitations to the Indian Air Force Chief to visit Israel on a lecture tour.

The United States is far more candid ( and disappointed).with the US president repeatedly mentioning the loss of "7 planes shot down" in an obvious reference to the losses of the Indian Air Force.

So far as Pakistan is concerned the war continues and there are inevitably new challenges in the forthcoming combat operations. The Pakistan Air Force is more concerned about the immediate situation rather than dwell on propaganda.

Question: Why do we allow diversion of the narrative and entertain such trolls on this forum?

You can't hate their Generals, they're love, they act more Gens of Pakistan than India 🥲

First the CDS came out with accepting the loss of aircrafts - now their Chief is requesting Pakistan to give Indian Military a chance 🥹

Here are the excerpts from his recent interview, and then from one held on Friday where he complained about their defense suppliers:

1.
"When we talk about the new normal, we have said that talks and terror can't go together. All we are asking is to adopt a peaceful process, which we will cooperate with. Until then, we will treat terrorists and their sponsors alike. We will respond to those who encourage terrorists. Today, India is so accomplished that it is not scared of any blackmail attempts"
  • So peace is on the table? ... Hmmm
2. "In today's time, battles are multi-domain. We cannot say how long it will last. We have to ensure we have supplies to last long."
  • Ran out of supplies during the 88 hours trailer? That's got to be bad for the feature film.
3. "Defence reforms are not a one-way street. (Domestic) industries will have to be truthful about their indigenous capabilities to us. You cannot leave us in the lurch. When you sign a contract and don't deliver in that particular time frame, it is a capability that is being lost"
  • So the defense suppliers are up to no good? ... Hmmm
4. "A lot of industries say this (a product) is 70% indigenous, but actually, if you find out, it is not. You have to be truthful about this. Because it is related to matters of security."
  • So Putin not ballin'? ... Hmmm
5. "You will have to be cost-competitive. Cost competitiveness is not for selling to the Indian armed forces. You have to be cost-competitive to compete in the foreign market. You can't have products which are overpriced."
  • Thought you had enough 🤑 in reserves ... Hmmm

Well I have set the narrative back on track with my post above about their CDS' interview 🤭

General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff, issues a stern warning against any attempts to block India’s progress. He declares that India is ready to respond decisively to every attack, named or unnamed. Speaking about Operation Sindoor 1.0, General Dwivedi says it was just a trailer—the real movie is yet to come. The Army chief vows strong retaliation and urges caution for any future aggression from Pakistan.

In pure Hindi ....chacha telling us the story line:

so 8 jets was a trailer?

Full movie 24 jets lost?

Quite funny how the Indian armed forces are taken for a ride by the politicians.

Deep down they know they are being used time and again by their politicians for their shallow end of winning elections and stoking fear. And this would be very demoralizing for their armed forces.

Imagine knowing 4-8 jets, 1-2 S400 possibly disabled, Uri HQ gone, and more and yet your government forces you to deny it.

Yeh dwivedi bakwas bohat karta hai
The nuances lie in the Shudh Hindi he uses:

  • "Shiksha Pradan " ( शिक्षा प्रदान) = give an education or educate." We will educate Pakistan on how a responsible nation interacts ( behaves) with its neighbors "
  • "Shiksha Grahan (शिक्षा ग्रहण) = Received an education, or got educated; , " In this Operation ( Operation Sindoor) we got an education ( learned a lesson)"
Knowing the background of the General helps to understand his psych. Caste is a factor in the demeanor of Indian Army officers. General Dwivedi is a highly educated Brahmin from Uttarkhand, and thus speaks softly. What is amusing is his attempt to speak Shudh (Sanskritized) Hindi when his native language is simple Urdu ( Hindustani) evident in the choice of words in the rest of his rant. He can't read or write Urdu since the teaching of that language has been officially banned since 1947 but the spoken language still lingers handed down from the previous generations.
Uttarkhand ( earlier a part of the pre-independent Indian province known as United Provinces or UP) has officially banned the use of simplified Urdu and Urdu words in official communications but this General seems to ignore that directive.
