Pakistan Air Force Mirage III serial 921 crashed during a routine training mission on October 18. The fighter crashed within the confines of PAF Base Masroor in the province of Sindh. According to the PAF, the jet crashed due a technical malfunction and resulted in the loss of the pilot. Wg Cdr Fayyaz received fatal injuries as a result of a late ejection after diverting the crippled jet away from a populated area. Waseem Abbas

Not a subject to highlight but these things happen and brave men and women lose their lives and some lucky ones survive.
 
An F-7PG operated by the Pakistan Air Force crashed on May 25 in the district of Mianwali in Punjab province.

The jet belonging to 20 Squadron ‘Cheetahs’ had been operating from PAF Base M. M. Alam near Mianwali city on a routine operational training mission. The pilot ejected successfully.

A Mirage III operated by the Pakistan Air Force crashed on May 2 near Athara Hazari Village in the Jhang district in the province of Punjab. The jet had been operating from PAF Base Rafiqui near Shorkot Cantonment on a routine training mission. The pilot managed to eject successfully prior to the crash. An investigation committee has been formed by the Air Headquarters at Islamabad. No loss of life or property occurred on the ground. Waseem Abbas

A Chengdu F-7P operated by the Pakistan Air Force crashed on August 8. The interceptor was operating on a routine night flying sortie from PAF Base M. M. Alam at Mianwali City when it went down at Sabzazar area of Mianwali district in the province of Punjab. The crash resulted in the loss of Wg Cdr Zeeshan Atta, the officer commanding 18 Squadron, to which the jet also belonged. Waseem Abbas
 
C-130E serial 4180 (ex-RAAF serial A97-180), operated by the Pakistan Air Force’s 6th Air Transport Squadron, ran of the runway while conducting a touch-and-go at Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi International Airport on November 9. The Hercules was completely destroyed when it struck a wall and burned after sufering an apparent blown tire. The nine-person crew escaped safely.

An F-7PG fighter operated by the Pakistan Air Force crashed in the Balochistan region on January 23. The pilot was killed when the fighter came down near Mastung.

This aircraft crashed in an open area near Sargodha following a technical failure during a routine operational training mission. It was normally based at Quetta, but had been flying from PAF Base Mushaf, Sargodha, as part of an exercise. The pilot ejected safely, but suffered a broken leg.

This helicopter crashed while attempting a forced landing at Peshawar-Bacha Khan International Airport, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Two of the four personnel on board were injured. The runway was closed temporarily while emergency services carried out recovery operations.

Both crew were killed when the aircraft crashed and caught fire on the runway at PAF Base Peshawar while returning from a routine operational training sortie.
