He was unable to recover :(
Reminds me of the recent Polish F-16 crash.
yes,

it looks to be a similar incident to the PAF F-16 crash too, start too low, unable to complete the loop, hit some sort of limiter (the nose wasnt coming up)- perhaps an alpha limiter like the F-16.

Lets see what happens. Terrible thing though

Boys boys
I genuinely, genuinely, hand on heart did not know of the Tejas crash when I posted the picture

Genuinely

i think genuinely this may be the nail in the coffin for tejas, no engines, hal incompetence, delays, import lobby etc, and now this
Not really. It has 180 units contracted and the only issues left are Indian weapons trial. IAF is willing to take deliveries only when Astra Mk-1 is integrated which HAL is yet to do with Israeli radar. Engine supplies have stabilised.

It has been problematic due to step-motherly treatment by all parties involved but it isn't going anywhere.

We have no import option left. Rafales too expensive, Su-57 prone to sanctions.
India should now stop bragging Tejas ...its over ...in an AIR SHOW.
It was not on the jet, the pilot couldn't recover his aircraft.
